What a great beach! The walk in was so picturesque. Like walking through a tunnel of trees, literally. The beach itself was gorgeous. The surf the day we went was pretty rough... not sure if it's always like that. Kinda rough for our boys who were 5 & 6. Our older kids (15, 18 & 18) loved it. Would be... More

enter thru guard gate and tell them you are going to shoys. nice walkway from parking lot to beach. very little sand to put chairs etc. picturesque bay. longer walk but the left end of beach best with more sand and better water access. right side around rocks good snorkeling---beware of current! no faclities, take own chairs and food/drinks but... Enter thru buccaneer, right turn before gate, drive to end of subdivision rd. Cool 1 minute walk thru trees. We were the only ones there. Not for those looking for excitement chairs or bathrooms.

This beach was nice to take a dip in. There was only 1 other couple there, so we had some privacy. The only downfall, was that the sand slopes down to the water, and otherwise there's lots of bushes so not too many great places to lay your towel out on. In order to get there, you must go through... More

Loved walking down the little path to the beach under the canopy of trees and plants. Watch your head! The beach is isolated and beautiful...

This is my favorite beach on St. Croix. There were just a few people here throughout an entire day, so you get privacy and quiet, not to mention good sand and swimming.

This is a secluded, beautiful beach. We were there at sunset for our wedding ceremony. It was wonderful and had the beach to ourselves. It's so cool walking through the tree tunnel to get to the beach. Will go back when we visit in February.

What a fun little walk to this beach. The parking lot leads to a very cool, tree covered path to the beach. There had been a great deal of rain, so the path was submerged under 6" of water, a very weird slog through the water! However, the beach was the perfect, sandy fringed crescent you've ever seen! Good snorkeling... More

I feel strange even writing this review for fear of giving away the "secret" of Shoy's Beach! We had this beautiful strip of sand to ourselves for most of the morning, with just a few other folks coming and going after noon. Although it was a blustery day on the island, the water here was still calm and inviting. No... More

After driving around for a while, we realized you enter through the Buccaneer hotel gates to get to Shoy. The beach itself had very few people (about 10) and was so secluded that a couple was in the water drinking liquor and having relations the whole time we were there...while their 3 year old son kept yelling "Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!"... More
