Located on St. Croix's north shore, the waters are not always gentle along this palm-tree-lined beach, but scuba diving and snorkeling are very popular here where less than 200 yards out is the drop-off called Cane Bay Wall.

Most Beautiful area!

We love Cane Bay beach and the whole area. We were there today and just sat on the beach and cooled out.

We had great food , met great people and had our fair share to exchanging travel stories with friendly travelers in a wonderful camaraderie. There are good adventure options in the area such as horseback riding We had a great time.

Cane Bay Beach is located on the North Shore of St. Croix, about 5 miles west of Salt River Bay, between Off the Wall restaurant and Spratnet Beach Bar. Our day at Cane Bay proved to be a day with clear water and good snorkeling. Give it a try! Take a look at the sign in front of the beach... More

We snorkeled several beaches and this was by far the best free access snorkel beach. There are also several local bars/deli's along the bay to have lunch at after your time snorkeling.

If you really want to see a great local beach then this is the place. You can go snorkeling so easily and the view is amazing. It gets a little busy on the weekends but during the week it's so relaxing

This beach has minimal parking alongside the roadway but has beautiful views. The waves were too rough for us to snorkel but one fellow did venture out with scuba gear.

We visited St. Croix while on a cruise ship stop. We had no idea where to go but we booked a trip to this beach through the taxi service that meets you outside the ship gates. Their service was awful, not friendly, not informative or prompt. We waited nearly 30 minutes to get on a van! No narration on the... More

Lots of tourists and families. Water wasn't so clear as other beaches. Venture further out and the waters get clear and full of schools of fish!!!! Great for kids.

The beach at cane Bay is a good spot. There are several good bar/restaurants there. The scuba diving is some of the best on the island.

One of the better snorkeling places on the Island, at least those that are reachable from the beach. Best advice: swim straight out from the stone boat launch, this is the ONLY way through the reef that's directly off-shore. Once through the reef, you can snorkel the back side either to the left or right. The prevailing current comes from... More
