Located on St. Croix's north shore, the waters are not always gentle along this palm-tree-lined beach, but scuba diving and snorkeling are very popular here where less than 200 yards out is the drop-off called Cane Bay Wall.

Cane bay is a great beach for the whole family. During the week it is fairly quiet, a bit more busy on the weekends. Make sure you don't go on cruise ship day! It will be crowded! There are enough trees to sit under if you're looking for shade. Spratnet beach bar is only a few steps away on the... More

Spent a half day here lounging on beach and snorkeling. There's a ton if sea life to about 50 yards off the shore. Lots of locals there, as well.

Wonderful beach spot to send the day, restaurants, rest rooms, and the beach is lovely. We found ample parking across the street. Beautiful water, sand beach, and not a lot of rocks in the water.

Not your picture perfect beach, but still a natural beauty. Provided shade, swimming, and sun time, what more do you need. Snorkel: Swim out right to the boat ramp about 40 yards then swim to your right. There is a pink villa on the hill, when you are in front of this you will enjoy some decent snorkel. We saw... More

We went to buck Island to see the national water park there and it was awesome, but at cane bay the coral not so crowded together so the it was way prettier and could really see the colors, the fish are there just not as many as Buck Island. Now this is the best place to see turtles, they are... More

The dive shop here was the best deal by far! Paid half the price but sacrificed none of the service. The beach is very nice but shade is hard to come by. 2 great restaurants right there.

My husband and I stopped in St. Croix for a day on a Royal Caribbean cruise. We just wanted a relaxing beach day and a chance to snorkel, and this beach was a great place for both of those things. There aren't any restroom facilities on the beach itself, but there's a restaurant (Eat@ Cane Bay) and dive shop across... More

Pretty beach, but lots of ants and very marginal snorkeling. Probably better for divers. There are some cool restaurants in area. Can't go wrong with any.

I stayed at the Renaissance Carambola, which is a mile and a half to the west. I walked to Cane Bay in the morning. It was a 35-40 minute walk, beautiful scenery the whole way. My husband and I grabbed lunch at Eat @ Cane Bay, which had an amazing view. We then rented some chairs from a bar right... More
