Located on St. Croix's north shore, the waters are not always gentle along this palm-tree-lined beach, but scuba diving and snorkeling are very popular here where less than 200 yards out is the drop-off called Cane Bay Wall.

Pretty beach, but lots of ants and very marginal snorkeling. Probably better for divers. There are some cool restaurants in area. Can't go wrong with any.

I stayed at the Renaissance Carambola, which is a mile and a half to the west. I walked to Cane Bay in the morning. It was a 35-40 minute walk, beautiful scenery the whole way. My husband and I grabbed lunch at Eat @ Cane Bay, which had an amazing view. We then rented some chairs from a bar right... More

It was so much fun, it's a 2 minute ride but still gives you the feeling of leaving one island and going to another. The Cane Beach is beautiful, fun, and where most of the tourists are, which was a good thing.

We visited St Croix for the first time and stayed at Cane Bay. Great environment with great snorkeling! The beach was nice, the amenities were incredible -- Dive shop, restaurants, bars all right at your finger tips. We traveled the entire island and never found a nicer spot!

Cane Bay is a popular place to swim, snorkel, and dive. The day we were there was windy and the water was rough, but several of our group got out beyond the waves and saw lots of coral and fish. There were several families, dogs, and locals enjoying the water and beach.

Cane Bay seems to be the ideal place to be on the island. Just far enough away from the airport and city, but still only a 15 minute drive for anyone who wanted to go into town. Cane Bay offers both shore diving and boat diving.

Although we did many dives here at Cane Bay each one was very different from the others. The beach is nice and such a bonus to have a dive shop on the beach and a great restaurant (EAT) right there as well. We met some very nice local folks there who were informative and welcoming.

We stayed a week at Cane Bay and fell in love with the area and the people. Everyone was laid back and friendly. The shore diving was awesome!! Don't look to go here if you need stuff to do 24/7 because you will be disappointed. If you want to unplug and relax, this is the place!!

Great local beach across the street from EAT restaurant. Nice place to grab a bite to eat and do some snorkeling. Easy taxi ride from Renaissance Carambola.

This is a nice beach to visit. Cane Bay Dive shop is across the street if you want to do a shore dive? This is a public beach like all beaches on the island. The only downfall on this way was when our daughter went to grab something shiney and she stuck herself with a fish hook into her finger.
