Taylor Bay is located in Chalk Sound. You make a left turn to Sunset Bay and access is by the tennis courts. It is almost a private beach, but it is accessible to public. It can be difficult to locate, but worth it once you are there. It has over 100ft of shallow waters . Very calm and gorgeous. Kids... More

This rather exclusive bay flanked on one side by some high end properties was just the spot for a few hours peaceful get-away. As the sand extended into the turquoise sea and did not shelve away, our your children could walk a long way out without fear of being out of their depth. Taxi or drive there and park by... More

We were there near low tide and it's like a giant swimming pool. Even 1000 feet out it's still only a foot or two deep. We didn't have our kids with us, but wished we did so they could play in the worlds biggest swimming pool.

This beach is the most beautiful, quiet, stunning beach that my family has ever been on. You can walk for ever and still be in three feet of water. We've never seen anything like it!

Great beach, for it is off the beaten track, and there are few, if not zero, people to see. Very private.

Great find. Beautiful view and very shallow and calm. Haven't seen anything like it and I've been to Tahiti, Mexico, Aruba, and Hawaii. It is consistently shallow and uniform in color for several hundred yards.

We took the scooter around town and stumbled upon Taylor Bay. Its tied for nicest beach in our rankings. (tied with Grace Bay). Its quiet, secluded and you can walk about about 500 yards before it drops off. Wish i could live along the beach there. #fromCAandTXtoParadise

This place is breathtaking. Exactly what you think of when you think of Caribbean beaches: water so clear you can see your feet! If you listen to the locals they will send you to this secluded beach on the other side of the island. MAKE SURE TO LISTEN TO THE DIRECTIONS. If not, you can get frustrated trying to find... More

Taylor Bay is good, but personally we preferred Sapodilla Bay. Huge homes on one side of Taylor. This bay is the other bay perfect for kids. Very shallow for 700-900 feet offshore. Very tranquil for couples. We saw 10-15 people the entire time we were there. To get there, take Chalk Sound Rd. Stay on Chalk Sound Rd. until you... More

We spent a 1/2 day at Taylor Bay- limited parking, short walk to a beautiful beach. You can walk out for hundreds of yards in shallow water. Traveled with kids and they loved it. I recommend you bring an umbrella. We probably would have spent more time there had we had chairs & an umbrella. (that was not our umbrella... More
