Worth the drive to see the sound - so beautiful. Like a postcard. Nice villas on the water...lots of $$$ but the drive over there showed the other side of the island with what must be the area where the locals live. Start contrast from the basic humble housing on one side of the highway to the multi million dollar... More

We were glad we drove out to chalk sound. The water is a different color than Grace Bay, a beautiful chalky blue. This is more of a drive than anything else, but there are places to stop and take pictures. You can also see the beautiful homes. We also found a public beach access point for one of the cays.

This is one of the most beautiful places in the entire world that I have ever seen. And believe me, I've been around the block, so I mean it when I say it. This is a true paradise. Just miles and miles of turquoise water and small islands. Everywhere you look, it's just peace and quiet. Amazing place to snorkel,... More

My family did the pontoon boat tour that Las Brisas Restaurant offers. It's a 2 hour tour. You get to snorkel a coral reef and a sunken plane. You then stop at one of the small islands to see tons of iguanas. We loved the tour. I have 3 teenage kids that really liked it as well. Snorkeling the sunken... More

We just drove near this body of water on our way to Taylor Bay and looked at it from Las Brisas restaurant. Not sure if you can rent a kayak for the waters, but didn't see a beach here. It's in the area of other things though and stunning so drive along Chalk Sound Dr and find a point where... More

The best places to see Chalk Sound are from Picturesque Point and from Las Brisas Restaurant. My wife and I stopped and took some pictures from Picturesque Point and the colors were just astounding. We also ate at Las Brisas which sits right on the water and were able to see the Sound from a different vantage point. From Last... More
