Very nice place, look everywhere find only turquoise waters!! very nice pice of the island, more easy and relaxed than the rest of the island. With las Brisas restaurant to go to for dinner. With so much wind that you can wish for.

Really beautiful ocean vistas with amazing hues of blue and turquoise that you won't really find on the leeward side of the island, but it's a little hard to get to (ask for directions first and take a map) and you will definitely need a rental car. There aren't really any activities here -- it's just scenic. Not near any... More

Simply Breathtaking views. We didn't get in the water much here but sure enjoyed the gorgeous water and views. Very close to Taylor Bay. You'll want to rent a car unless you are staying near Taylor Bay which is a short walk to the Sound.

You have to visit this while in Provo. Water color is different and animal life is different also. We spent and afternoon here and really enjoyed ourselves.

The color of the water is truly amazing. I've been told it is to do with the sand and light. Make sure you know where you are going for much of the surrounded land is privately owned. The drive is unpaved and there are very few road signs.

Took a drive here and found it amazing. Don't miss this part of the island! The sand is white and very different texture. The white against the blue water is lovely.

We had a hire car so drove to Chalk sound. It is breathtakingly beautiful. The colour of the water is the most surreal I have ever seen. It is quite difficult to actually get to the waters edge as most of the land is owned by private houses. If you keep looking and stopping it is possible to fine access... More

I think that´s the question you raise when you are there. Is so unreal that you wonder if someone added any chemical there, but no, is just nature doing its job. If you have rented a car, then you have to go chalk sound, it really worths the visit, even there is nothing to do but enjoying the views.

Service was very good we sat on a deck overlooking the water. Food was excellent with fair prices. Try their specialty drinks
