I imagine this site would be more crowded in season, but we nearly had it to ourselves. We visited a few snorkeling sites on the island (Smith's Reef, the sunken plane in Chalk Sound, etc.), and this was perhaps the most interesting and entertaining. We spent an entire afternoon there and snorkeled around it several times in between relaxing on... More

Surprisingly a lot of beautiful marine life and interesting things to be seen right off the shore. Don't miss it if you are near the area. It is easy and interesting.

We snorkel here every year and we love it. We saw all kinds of fish and coral. It is beautiful. We saw rainbow parrot fish, grouper, sting rays, trumpet fish, and an eel.

This reef was just as good as any other spot I visited. This includes two scuba dives on the "Wall" off the island shelf. You can literally take a few steps off the beach and you are there. Easy access and wide variety of life to see makes it a must.

Coral Garden is a good snorkeling spot. Do note you have to stay out of the red rope area. There's PLENTY of coral around and plenty of fishes. Turtles hang out where there are sea grass so if you're lucky, you'll spot one or two. The sand is fine, very little rocks so kiddies can enjoy but littering is an... More

Bring you own equipment and just float around and see amazing fish! Just steps from Gansevoort Hotel and eat at the Somewhere Cafe.

We traveled to provo with our 3 kids and we are all beach lovers. My husband and I both SCUBA dive and snorkel. The 2 older girls (10 and 12) have snorkeled in Hawaii but are far from experts. Coral Gardens has an amazing beach but what makes it great for snorkeling is that it has mooring balls and rope... More

We stayed at the Coral Gardens hotel so that we wouldn't have to travel to snorkel every day. The reef is amazing and literally right off the beach. They have the center area roped off and you can follow the trail around the outside of the buoys. We snorkeled a couple of times a day during our stay. We saw... More
