We went snorkeling twice at Coral Gardens. The fish are very friendly there. We saw lot's of beautiful creatures! If you are an experienced snorkeler you will probably like Smith's Reef slightly better (sting ray, eagle ray, barracuda, etc.). But considering the excellent beaches at Coral Gardens (which Smith's reef doesn't have) there's a little something for everyone at Coral... More

Plopped down in the sand and put on snorkel gear next to the public access walkway ( we were not staying at condos, so "couldn't use chairs and umbrellas). Saw several barracuda, schools of purple tang, puffers and swarming yellow tail (local piranha they call em). Guess they have been fed by previous snorkeling generations! Coral was in so so... More

This is a great place to snorkel. Because it's just 20 feet off the beach, it's great for beginners as well as more experienced snorkelers. We came on a sunny late afternoon, and it was not crowded. This is my third time at this reef, and I did not see as many fish this time as previous times, but it... More

This was by far the best snorkeling spot that we found in Grace Bay. It was about a 25 minute walk from our resort. Just get your gear at the resort and have fun.

We went snorkeling here. there are signs on the roads warning you not to leave anything of value but hey we just left our hats, glasses and towels there and they were undisturbed. Best parts of the reef are in the back in deeper water. My companion thought that reef was more populated last year in the morning. Seemed that... More

Multi color coral, variety of fish, smooth waters and free entrance fee , makes this the best deal on TCI. Snorkel right off the beach. They have roped off area to protect the reef. The fish know no boundaries.

We had a wonderful experience snorkeling the Bight Reef. There were tons of vibrantly coloured fish and coral on display. Don't miss taking the kids and grandkids too!

Easy snorkeling... my hotel provided gear for free, and you can wade out to it. You can actually see a lot (fish, coral, eel, turtle, barracuda (yikes!)... good free fun! You snorkel around the preserve, and if you go inside, you get yelled at.

We visited the week of May 6. We walked to Coral Gardens from our resort (The Alexandra) every day. We found that more sealife were "out" on the cloudy days. We swam with sea turtles one day. The snorkeling was average & not what I expected from all of the reviews.
