This was by far the best part of our trip. There was a gentleman, Trevor, who was selling beach loungers and umbrellas. My sister and I rented one and took turns walking the beach. We each found empty conch shells and sea glass. Humpback whales were frolicking out at see, too. The water was gorgeous and was a wonderful way... More

Even for the beach, it's not worth the taxi drive. STAY NEAR THE CRUISE TERMNINAL you'll save the taxi bill. The beach are much more clean and anyway there is absolutly nothing to see in "town".

Most of the cruise passengers hang out at the beach right next to the cruise ships. There are plenty of restaurants & shops in that area. There is also Pop & Island music blaring the whole time too. I wasn’t in the mood for partying so I decided to go for a run. I came across Governor’s beach first (approximately... More

Some nice beaches which are covered on there own. The park is just a sign on the beach. Go for the beach, not the park

Beautiful, tranquil clear blue water. The bluest water I've seen. It was just like the Corona commercial.

This runs the length of the west of the island almost, and includes some great beaches, including Governors beach. If you are staying on the island during the week head to Governors Beach and you will have the place to yourself.

Arrived by Cruise line Carnival ( Splendor ) I found the island to be beautiful except for the poverty . The water is as clear as Gin . The coral plentiful / we stayed the day and visited many places this being the best of them all . If you like friendly people and a good deal then this place... More

The most wonderful sand, ultra-clear bathlike water, and the most incredible reef I've seen. "The Wall" drops off from 30' to 7000' (yes, seven THOUSAND feet) - breathtaking.

No venders here. Just a little public beach with a couple of benches and a huge shade tree. We really enjoyed the beach.
