Must say that this beach was a disappointment. I didn't think about swimming there due to the huge crowd (2 cruise ships were docked that day) and the uninviting water full of black see weeds. The deeper waters looked quite nice but those were beyond the cordoned swimming area. There are many beach chairs on the beach, but those are... More

Many historians believe that Grand Turk is possibly the first island Christopher Columbus reached during his discovery of the New World in 1492 After having done a Carnival tour of this 18 km2 island we spent most of our time shopping in the Grand Turk cruise ship terminal (my wife’s favourite past time)! Before returning to our ship we relaxed... More

We stopped her and was able to do some snorkeling. We went out and followed the buoy line and saw a barracuda!! It was awesome. There was a guy selling coconuts for a few dollars which were delicious. We did a picture stop next to the Drunk Bird Statue. Mark as helpful if you read this :)

We visited the beach after getting off of our Carnival cruise last week. The water was clear. There were a few rocks under the water along the beach which the sea urchins like to hang around. The locals are on the beach selling water, beer and soda, water excursions and also Horse rides. We had no problem finding chairs as... More

This location was so so convent coming off of a cruise ship. The water had lots of seaweed in it, the sand was rocky, and the sand remained stirred up in the water, affecting visibility, but my kids still enjoyed snorkeling there. It got really crowded when the 2nd ship docked. The pool was really nice, but the wifi wouldn't... More

This beach is right by the cruise ship terminal. It is a little rocky along the shoreline so I definitely recommend wearing aqua socks but the water is comfortable and if you have a water camera you can get some great pictures of the cruise ships

Great beach. Very crowded with 2 ships in port. Had no problem finding chairs. Tourist put trash in water though and starting to ruin it.

It was a fun day right off the cruise ship. We enjoyed the beach and Margaritaville. It was busy, but entertaining. Towards the end of our visit we went into the water for a short time. When we came out my son's small bag was missing. Unfortunately his girlfriend's cell phone was in it. When we reported it, we found... More

Just got back from a cruise. SunRay Beach in Grand Turk is an easy way to spend a lovely day at the beach. When exiting a cruise ship, you must pass through the duty free shop. You are now at Sunray Beach! The water is calm, but the ocean floor is rocky so I suggest that you wear rubber soled... More

We stopped in Grand Turk as a port of call via cruise line. We had decided this would be a beach day for our family. No tendering involved just walk off the ship, down the pier and there you are on a lovely, large beach. The sand was gorgeous as was the water. The ocean bottom is uneven alternating sand... More
