Pretty beach, lotd of amenities, beautiful water, friendly people, nice music. Would go back anytime.
The water here was quite cool. Be sure to bring water shoes because the rocks are tough on your feet. The water had a lot of seaweed in it and waves were a bit rough. The sand is beautiful and there are plenty of chairs for relaxing. There is some shopping nearby but everything is a bit pricey. The weather... More
Sailed here with the wife on Carnival. It's nice to get off the boat, but I wasn't impressed with the beach much. You basically walk off the ship, stroll a few hundred feet and your right there. You can tell the terminal is owned by the cruise lines. I don't know for a fact that Carnival owns it, but it... More
What can be said is this is a excellent beach to use when arriving on a cruise ship. It is right next to the dock so long walks to get there or cabs to negoiate with. Pluses: right near the dock Margaritaville right behind beach. great drink spot fantastic snorkeling as other said FREE chairs since you are by the... More
This was the last stop on my Caribbean cruise the first week of March. The water was warm, and calm for swimming & crystal clear! My BF and I got to take a lot of pics with our underwater camera. Margaritaville is right behind the beach and at the end of the cruise pier so very convenient to have a... More
While aboard the Carnival Freedom, we visited this beach while docked in Grand Turk for the day. This is an excellent choice for families with young children. As soon as you walk off the ship you are on the beach in two minutes. It's so nice to not need a taxi to get to the beach! Another great bonus is... More
Lots of lounge chairs even with 2 ships docked. Was very clean and the water was a clear aqua blue. Plenty of shade when you have had enough sun. Very relaxing considering how many people were there. Swimming pools looked crowded. Lots of different little stores from the usual ship docks.
this was our 3rd stop on our Carnival cruise stops and it was NICE!!!, plenty of sun chairs and activities for the Family, I did the Parasailing and both of my kids went SCUBA Diving, my wife just CHILLAX on the beach and spend money on the tourist stores. we spend 6 hours here and it was very nice and... Not exactly great but ok. The ships dock nearby and it kinda put me off going into the sea. It felt a bit spoilt. Lots of sun loungers and beach sellers with the bar and restaurant nearby. We choose to sit by the pool instead.
Lots of lounges, enough tree-shade, rocky beach, calm waters. Water nowhere as clear or clean as the great Caribbean beaches (Bermuda's Horseshoe Bay, Grand Cayman's 7-mile beach, etc.). What's nice is that it's a short and easy walk back to the ship, no tender required. "Downtown" Cockburn in Grand Turk ($10 return trip on taxi vans) consisted of a few... More
