Visited August 2013. This is some of the cleanest beach water I have ever seen. It's a beautiful beach and the primary reason I want to visit Grand Turk again. There's a Margaritaville really close by which is very convenient as well.

Our cruise ship docked here for the day on may 1 and we enjoyed our time on the beach before and after our snorkel excursion. The locals here do not drive you crazy trying to sell you things like some beaches in the carribean. This beach is less than a 5 min walk from your ship and has lots to... More

Came here by cruise ship and this area is very beautiful. However, since it is where the cruise ship docks, you will have an abundance amount of people packed on this beach with chairs lined up and down it right beside each other (to the right side of the pier) if you don't adventure out. There's plenty of trees along... More

What a great day at the beach ! Our ship the Costa Luminosa accosted in the morning, and all it took us was a few steps to get to this beach. We enjoyed the loungers, and it did not feel too crowded. Great photo opportunities to do in the ocean with the ship behind. Nice place to do some snorkeling... More

The easiest excursion is to get of the ship and just enjoy the beauty of where the ship brought you. Do that here. Bring your snorkel and a bit of patience and you will have a great time. We were shocked to find the lounge chairs near the cruise pier are free to use and there weren't too many vendors.... More

We spent the port day on SunRay Beach. It's a beautiful, clean beach with soft, white sand and crystal clear water. The chairs are free to use, umbrellas can be rented. We had a great day playing in the water, walking the beach to the various beach bars, tasting local rum and meeting the friendly locals. I can't wait to... More

We went on a shore excursion at 8:30 to Gibbs Cay. Upon our return we found chairs at no charge to the right of docks (looking at the shoreline) opposite the busy Margaritaville area. The grandmothers lounged under the palms while we took a nature walk along the shore. It was slightly crowded near the dock and there was not... More

SunRay Beach is a great spot to spend the day while on a cruise. There are a few stony areas near the dock, but you only have to go a few steps down the beach to avoid them.

This is an excellent beach. It's right next to the cruise ship pier. There is plenty of chairs to lay on, sand to dig in and water to swim in.

We got off our ship. Chilled out on the sunbeds. Had a rum or three. Enjoyed the various bars on the seashore. There were a few shops too. Chilled out relaxed place. Great day
