My husband and I have been going to Provo for a few years now and decided to venture off to North and Middle Caicos for the day. We took the ferry on a Saturday morning (almost did not make it on the ferry even though we had made reservations and confirmed two days before) @ $50 per person return. Rented... More

Took the TCI Ferry ($50 roundtrip) to Sandy Point, North Caicos and met Cheeseman, also called Sexy, who had my arranged Jeep waiting. We toured all over North and Middle Caicos. There are long roads with NOTHING to see, so be prepared to think you are lost. Mudjin Harbour is BEAUTIFUL and for about a year now, the new Grill... More

We'd read all about the lovely solitude on North and Middle Caicos. Unless you've never seen a desolate island where vegetation is so high you can't see the ocean from the road, don't go. Car rental was $85; gas $53; ferry round trip $50 per person plus food and drink Mudjin Harbor was truly beautiful and food at Blue Horizon... More

This island is not filled with resorts or restaurants, just bonefish. Accessible via ferry from Provo (arrive early), it is a great day trip. This is like Provo 30 years ago. For peace and serenity, and 10-15 shots a day at nice size bones, this is the place to be.

I took a 30 minute ferry ($25 USD each way) over to North Caicos Island and rented a car ($75/day) to drive to Middle Caicos. There wasn't a ton of restaurants on the way, but stopped at Barracuda Beach Bar for lunch in North Caicos. It took about 30-45 minutes to drive to Middle Caicos. Mudjin Harbor was beautiful and... Four of us took a 6 hour custom guided tour of the sparsely populated North and Middle Caicos islands and had a great time. Both islands are sparsely populated. The tour is for only people in your group and the tour guide conducts the tour based on your preferences for sites to visit. We rode the 9:30am ferry to North... More

We took the ferry from Provo which was a beautiful ride over to North / Middle Caico's. Only took 1/2 hr. so you are there before you know it. We rented a jeep for $85/day. I will warn you though that the vehicles you rent on the island are nothing like the states. The jeep we had the tires were... More

We've been to North Caicos a couple times. It is remote, quiet and beautiful. The restaurants are all pretty good, too, and the prices are in line with Provo. On North Caicos, you can walk the beaches for miles and not see a soul, enjoying your own "private" beaches along the way. We have been stopped by a few folks... More

If you're ready for something completely different in the Caribbean, and are craving simplicity rather than luxurious resort-surroundings, it's high time you hopped on the ferry to North Caicos ! For the full effect, fly to Providenciales, then call Virgil's Taxi and Tour 649-231-0199 (hopefully get Virgil - he's a gem ! ) - to get you to the TCI... More

If you are a nature lover North and Middle Caicos are just for you. Of course if vacations mean Night Life,,, fancy restaurants,,, shopping and Casino :-) better go to Miami or Providenciales. Our villa rental DATAI is booked years after years since 15 years by guests exhausted by city life . They just want to enjoy our wonderful beach... More
