We spent two or three hours on the verandah watching and photographing many dozens of beautiful hummingbirds at the bird feeders, and witnessing a colourful collection of other birds attracted to the fruit provided by Ean Mackay, the owner. At the 'dinner bell' we witnessed a mix of Barred Antshrikes, a Trinidad Motmot, Blue-gray Tanagers, Red-crowned Woodpeckers and no doubt... More

Very peaceful to sit and watch the birds feeding as such close quarters. We must have spent over an hour there watching the hummingbirds. Beautiful

If you want to see birds arrive at the sound of the bell, this is the place to see. The owner, Ian, rings a bell at feeding time, and the number of birds that appear is really something. The whole farm is a family-owned plantation with many different varieties of fruit trees. It is a beautiful lush experience.

We were taken here by Peter Cox, local bird specialist. It is a magical place where you can see dozens and dozens of hummingbirds, and later, bats.

Never have I seen such a mass of humming birds attracted by the feeders put out and continually refilled by the owner. Just stand there with a camera in hand and be mesmerised by these tiny creatures to who nature has gifted some of her finest colours and surely the fastest wing-beats in creation, viz; 65/100 beats per second. Wonderful place, small but birds flew all around us. Privately run, informative, you can also stay in eco friendly lodges

We visited the Gardens by Taxi to view the humming birds and other local flora and fauna. The visit was good until a coach from a cruise line arrived when we were asked to move on. They completely took over and we left. We definitely felt that our payment (6US pp)was not important. The birds we managed to see were... More

Reasonable entry fee Multi feeders attract hundreds of humming birds. Grounds were nice but hardly an adventure.
