We are recently retired and wanted to see these falls. Our tour people explained you needed to walk to this but we still did not realise that you are wading up the river to the falls some of the time, or walking on paths. You do get your feet wet and the water can come up to your calves. It... More

This was a great experience. Very straight forward and easy to get to the trail as there are well marked signs leading to the trail. At the base of the trail is a picnic area and a fountain of spring water where you can fill your bottles up. The hike was short to get up to the main falls. About... More

We were told this was one of the tallest waterfalls in the Caribbean so we had to see it. We arrived at the foot of the trail and hiked up to see this awesome view and natural wonder. During our visit we were even lucky enough to see a rainbow. We took lots of cool pictures under the falls and... More

A very beautiful waterfall in the northern range. It is an easy hike uphill for about one half mile. it is really a little retreat from the bustle of life

The waterfall itself was nice, but the journey getting there was obviously not worth it. It started by having the taxi driver park in a stranger's yard. After we parked, was when the real "fun" began. The (roughly) 2-mile trek began with a very long stretch of mud. The sandals I was wearing (the tour guide "recommended" that I wear... More

This is a beautiful site, a cold cold bathe but the view is breath taking. If you hike to the site it would be worth it at the end.

Our guide Jerome was a mine of information, not only that he was patient with our two young guests (7 & 11 years) answering all their questions and pointing out more things they should be interested in from ants and small fruit to trees and shrubs. The walk up to the falls is fairly short but with all the stops... More
