I love that the emperor valley zoo is expanding. I believe the animals are cared for and the infrastructure is greatly improving. Looking forward to the new additions.

I appreciated the visit to the zoo with kids and though I don't like animals and birds caged, it was a learning experience and one that I recommend to visitors of Trinidad. If only to lend support and appreciation to the workers that keep the place in order. Enjoy a family day trip there, two hours is all you need.

The zoo has a wide arrange of wild animals which makes it very interesting for animals lovers and visitors to view. The area surrounding the zoo is one of the best picnic areas for families.

We visited the zoo this week as this is our first trip to Trinidad. I can say that at the entrance I was very worried that there wouldn't be much to see. After seeing small animals pacing in even smaller cages, we got to the fish tanks. At this point I almost turned around and left, as they were so... More

Very interesting, can view a variety of animals, reptiles and birds at close range. Very safe, everything is identified with some other information with respect to the animals' origin, natural habitat etc. Can make it into a family picnic.

The zoo is really returning to its place of importance on the social calendar. Families go, friends, go, couples go too. The birds, the big cats, the giraffes, snakes for those who like them, and all the rest of the awesome animals create a lovely learning and interactive space.

I’ve not visited a zoo for decades with unpleasant memories of miserable specimens pacing back and forth in tiny enclosures with little stimulation in captivity so I wasn’t too keen on the upcoming family outing to this one. Clearly things have moved on and I was delighted that Emperor Valley Zoo certainly does the best it can to ensure the... More

It's really delightful to see all the upgrades happening. My son always enjoy a day at the zoo. Since he experiences it in real life, this makes it easier for him to write about it in school. White tigers & Cubs are new. Giraffes are also a new edition. Visitors are allowed to Feed the giraffes. From time to time... More

Love bringing my kids here with my partner, we always have a great time and it's lots of fun. Although, it is always sad to see how the lions are kept, I have visited Emperor millions of times and the lions habitat hasn't changed, other than that, a great beautiful place to go :)
