My wife and I visited the zoo to get a better idea of animals in the region and were very pleased. Although the afternoon was very hot, we walked the entire zoo and saw many wonderful things. The animals all appeared to be well cared for and the staff and zookeepers were knowledgeable and helpful. We really enjoyed ourselves. Of... More

I visited the zoo in July with my son and we were truly amazed at how much improvements have been made and the commitment by staff to the animals there. My seven year old thoroughly enjoyed the giraffes and tigers especially the feeding sessions where the keepers gave facts on the animals and allowed guests to ask questions. Thank you... More

Took the kids here while we were in town for a family vacation and we were pleasantly surprised! We had toddlers and pretend with us and adults ranging in ages from 20 - 60 and everyone found something to enjoy! The zoo does feel very tropical and Caribbean so if you expect USA style grounds you maybe disappointed.....it's a great... More

It's amazing what a difference it is here versus in the States. The animals were very beautiful, you could even feed the giraffes. The facility is a bit dated I would have to admit. I think if you have animals as exotic and beautiful as they have they need more. More habitat, some of the monkeys haven't even stepped foot... More

Though certain parts of the facility are still being upgraded, for the most part, it was a nice and interactive experience. The staff are very knowledgeable about the animals, and you can even feed the giraffes, and play with some birds and of the non-poisonous snakes.

For a cheap admission fee, The Emperor Valley Zoo allows you to have an intimate experience with the animals housed there. This is the only zoo that I've been to that allows you to be within feet of ferocious animals. The variety of animals is quite impressive for this small zoo. In addition, the Petting Zoo for snakes is a... More

Interesting. It's gotten bigger, given the added giraffe enclosure etc. I enjoyed it. Lots of walking to do to visit all of the animals. Children generally enjoy this trip.

I wouldn't jump up & down to visit this place. I find it to be over-crowded, smelly & there's not much to see.

Since the recent renovations and the addition of more animals to the Emperor Valley Zoo, it's a pleasure to venture there with the kids to see the animals. I love the white tiger cubs and the giraffes! The kids always enjoy seeing the animals and mimicking them. And I especially like the fact that there are trainers on hand to... More
