Excellent waves fro surfing or learning to. Lots of night time activity. Quiet in the early daytime. Beautiful bay view from lookout. Sheds for cooking and liming (hanging out with friends). I love to go sleep on the beach, bathe, eat bake and shark and then party.

Just 40 minutes’ drive from Port of Spain, Maracas Bay has Trinidad’s most popular beach. The wide, white-sand beach, thick with palm trees contrasting against the backdrop of verdant mountains, remains an irresistible lure for both locals and travelers. And don't miss the bake n shark ! :)

I've been here lots of times. It is sometimes over-crowded, but the people keep coming back. There are food-vendors, as well persons selling light blow-up toys for kids.

Beautiful and relaxing. Great place to enjoy warm water in a beautiful island. Love the shark and bake at the local vendors opposite the beach.

This is my getaway spot if I'm looking for a relaxing atmosphere with friends or maybe just for some tasty bake and shark or shrimp and fries!!!! (mouth watering). Nice and quiet during the week but very active on weekends.

I have always loved Maracas Beach. Been there several times. Friendly crowd, safe, good food next door especially the famous "bake and shark" I would recommend it to anyone visiting the Island of Trinidad.

A adventurous journey to the warm sparkling waters of the North Coast. Ideal for relaxation, sunbathing, swimming and enjoying delicious local cuisine such as bake and shark with lot of exotic dressing. A very scenic journey through the mountains.
