Love the lookout and the food stalls on the beach. Great local foods. Dislike nothing. However would choose sunny days to drive out to Maracas it is hilly and narrow roads.

Maracas beach is definitly the best beach in Trinidad. Getting there is a nice ride and being there is just lovely. And when you're there, dont forget to get your bake n shark, a very delicious addition to your Maracas beach trip.

Best north coast beach. Deep cove and on a good day its perfect for long swimming. Lifeguards in attendance. Some facilities and great bake and shark for food. Don't be careless since there is a lack of secured lockers. My usual place for great sun, sand and swim !!

This section of the island is totally remote and BEA-U-TIFUL. Clean beach and swimming area. Just a breathtaking sheltered cove off of the ocean. Picture LOST or CASTAWAY being filmed here. Gorgeous.

I enjoyed a glorious weekend at Maracas Bay. The trip getting there offers breathtaking views, once there enjoy the waves and beauty of the bay. If hungry have a shark and bake.

If you are looking for a relaxing and picturesque place to decompress this is one of Trinidad and Tobago's treasures. There's food and drink right across the street where the local bake and shark sandwich is a must have, so delicious 1 is never enough.

Go for the day! The sand is nice, the waves are strong, but not crazy, there's bake-n-shark stands & booze, chair rentals, and lots of beautiful scenery.

This was as shore excursion from the Ocean Princess (POS-280). We had a beautiful ride through the countryside, spotting beautiful mansions and lush landscape, for about 40 minutes, stopping at a spot to look out over the beach we were heading to. And such a beautiful beach it was! Nice breeze, palm trees, shade, peace and quiet, perfect sand. We... More
