The Toco light house in Trinidad one of the countries best must see places in the island. It is very peaceful and the view is magnificent. From the look out one can see an outline of Tobago.

We made the long drive from the south of Trinidad to Toco (roughly about 3 hours) to make it to this site. Enjoyable drive through winding roads and forested areas, through little fishing villages to get to this spot where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea. Very nice place to behold and get some great photos. Its rather rocky... More

The Light House towers over the ocean behind it. IT is such a beautiful landmark in TOCO. Walking through the grounds to the ocean behind is a welcome surprise. The ocean sounds are amazing. Sitting on the rocks and listening to the waves hit the rock is peaceful. From that point you can see our sister island of Tobago on... More

Great place to visit if you are on that side of the island. The views are spectacular and great for landscape photography however besides the spectacular views and the lighthouse, theres nothing else. Good place for a picnic but no facilities of any kind.

Great views form this location. Interesting to history buffs. Very crowded parking area. Try to get there before lunchtime especially on weekends or public holidays.

If you visit Toco then you should have visited the lighthouse at some point. The drive is long and there are no food/bathroom facilities. The view of the lighthouse and at lookout rock is splendid. Safe during daylight and a solid family location. Recommend that you stay overnight at a resort or beach house if you are coming from a... More

I visited the Galera Point Lighthouse on a sunday trip through the northeast. Beautiful place, nice view of the ocean and nearby rock formations, but that's about it. If you've got the time and will to visit, be sure to bring picknick goods (food and drinks), because there's no touristic infrastructure.

I would like a hand here. Yes, a perfect scenary for enjoying nature, you can even see Tobago from this point. Although, you can see dirt all around, empty cigarette boxes, empty beer bottles. Guys, come on.
