My wife and I consider it a treat to visit on Birthdays or Anniversaries. The number and variety of birds to be seen in different seasons make it a must-visit on our itinerary so that we welcome having visitors who give us an excuse for going there on other occasions. The cuisine is always excellent; usually traditional Caribbean dishes done... More

Visited with my wife. The drive to the Centre is very nice but the road can be a bit tricky to navigate at times. Thoroughly enjoyed stops along to way to take in the scenic views and the christophene plantations. The place was more than we expected. The tour was excellent and we enjoyed hearing and looking for the bellbird.... More

Asa Wright is a wonderful experience for the entire family. The experience is top class, the guides are well trained and affable and the meals are local and very good. The guest rooms are very basic and in some cases sparse.

This place is a hidden paradise tucked away in the mountain. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. However, I thought the tea was a bit overpriced, but knowing it goes to the center and the million photo opps with all the birds, butterflies and different animals more than made up for it. It was wonderful to see all the... More

The drive up to Asa Wright Nature Center is an experience in itself, but it is well worth the effort. Nestled way up in the central range, the Center provides an experience and a half for bird enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. We arrived for the 10:30 am forest walk. Our guide, sorry I can't remember his name, was great.... More

Watching the birds feast on the fruit that was provided was great. the birds were so beautiful, watching them in their natural atmosphere was even more amazing. You learn a lot about certain trees and wildlife during you visit here. Lots of survival tips as well!

This is a site where exotic bird sightings are guaranteed. Lunch is available as well as tours into the forest along trails. There are bird feeders directly on front of the verandah and an array of truly beautiful birds regularly feed there- purple and green honeycreepers, different species of humming birds, tanagers and banana quits, are just a few. Agouti... More

I can't believe I did not write a review for this already - this is my FAVOURITE place in Trinidad - if there was no entry fee with the same boring tour, I would go there every time I had some free time. The drive up there is pretty dangerous and easy to get lost especially as there is often... More

We arrived over an hour late for the tour due to the weather, and we expected that we would not get the guide, because we were late!! When we got to the desk, paid etc. the receptionist informed us we had missed the tour and probably would not get a guide. It was a group of seven so we decided... More
