This museum is small and had some interesting AmerIndian pottery and other artifacts which have been found during digs on Carriacou. It costs 5 EC per adult. The museum also has some good souvenirs to purchase.

This is a tiny little museum by museum standards but well worth a visit. I am interested in pottery so I was fascinated by the pottery pieces and other relics. You can handle a few pieces which was brilliant. I would of liked a catalogue or even a postcard as a souvieneer as sadly you cannot take a photo inside,... More

Small, yes, but packed with excellent artifacts and information! And be sure to buy a copy of the local cookbook while you are there. And a t-shirt. Please tell Clemsia that Angel sent you?!

Very simple museum, easily located near the tourist office. Gives island history. Do drop in and support it.

This small museum could certainly benefit from some financial assistance. They do a very good job and considering the islands part in history it would be great is someone would provide the extra boost they deserve. The artifacts on display while small in number are impressive. You will find the staff to be very enthusiastic and in terms of time... More

I enjoyed learning more about Carriacou's history and seeing artifacts that have been recovered. Seeing the canoe that native South Americans used to sail to this island was pretty amazing. It is small but worth checking out, and they have some nice items for sale, including various historical maps, which I love.

The museum may be small but it is worth going, seeing the artifacts, and learning about the history of the island. The lady at the front desk was very nice and was able to answer some of our questions but not all. The gift shop part took up 1/3 of the museum but that too was interesting.

Very small museum with a few interesting artifacts, but not enough available information. Most likely funds are short and the museum is unable to pay a knowledgable staff person, which is unfortunate as Carriacou probably has a varied history that would be good to share with visitors to the island.
