This small museum could certainly benefit from some financial assistance. They do a very good job and considering the islands part in history it would be great is someone would provide the extra boost they deserve. The artifacts on display while small in number are impressive. You will find the staff to be very enthusiastic and in terms of time... More

I enjoyed learning more about Carriacou's history and seeing artifacts that have been recovered. Seeing the canoe that native South Americans used to sail to this island was pretty amazing. It is small but worth checking out, and they have some nice items for sale, including various historical maps, which I love.

The museum may be small but it is worth going, seeing the artifacts, and learning about the history of the island. The lady at the front desk was very nice and was able to answer some of our questions but not all. The gift shop part took up 1/3 of the museum but that too was interesting.

Very small museum with a few interesting artifacts, but not enough available information. Most likely funds are short and the museum is unable to pay a knowledgable staff person, which is unfortunate as Carriacou probably has a varied history that would be good to share with visitors to the island.

With the handy Osprey ferry available every day (departing Grenada at 9am and returning the same day), I decided to take a day trip to Carriacou to see what so many Grenadians are missing out on (So often I got the response: “I’ve never been” whenever I revealed to a Grenadian that I had visited Carriacou. I was so glad... More

The colourful little musuem is more an gallery of the art and poetry of a gentleman who is obviously held in high regard and has played a significant part in leading the local artiistic culture. But that's it, I am afraid.

I'm glad we did this. Small, but interesting. We enjoy learning more about cultures and peoples where we visit and this was just that opportunity. Nice lady working there also.

This place is quaint and somewhat interesting but can be experienced in 15 minutes. It is just down the street opposite the ferry dock. Run by a charming lady. She will take you around and eplain everything to you. There is nothing else for her to do. When we were there, we were the only people there. It is a... More
