We were staying at the hotel so this tour is complementary to guests but I understand it is only $10 a person so FANTASTIC value even at that! Our guide was Esera who works on the plantation and he gave us a fun 45 minute tour of the property telling us about it's local history, the animals and plants there.... More

My friends and I were staying in Lower Bay but had friends at Firefly and decided we'd make the trip over the hill to join them for a Firefire Plantation tour. It was the best EC$10 we spent all weekend. The atmosphere was very laid back but really informative and fun. Ezra was our guide and let us sample everything... More

A very interesting tour of a plantation. The Plantation used to grow indigo, sugar cane, copra and other crops for export to the United Kingdom. Today they grow other crops for use more locally, there is no export. You can still see indigo and sugar cane growing and there are the historical remains of the indigo processing tubs and sugar... This place is exceptionally beautiful. Rooms are very clean and surroundings peaceful and quiet. Staff was pleasant. Food was great. Everything very well thought out and this place is definitely for couples. Unfortunately i went with my friend so showers are designed for couples(open plan) and everything is romantic. No tv in rooms(no distractions). All fruit drinks i had tasted... More

I stayed in the hotel for several nights and did the tour on one of the days. Ezra did the tour excellently. He showed us a huge range of plants including gauva, coconut, mango, lime, lemon, tamarind and many others. He also showed us how sugar cane was processed and the plantations bee hives. Overall a great experience and great... More

They have lots of different kinds of fruit on the tour that you get to sample straight from the plant. Ezra did a great job of showing us how the fruit is harvest and processed. Gunno our taxi driver added to the explanations as well.

Well worth a visit and only a short taxi ride from the town. Plantation tour a must a d really cheap. relax in the pool and then have a scrumptious evening meal. A bit pricey but an experience not to be missed.

We were staying at the hotel so did the tour as part of our stay. Esera, our guide, was delightful and gave us lots of interesting and fun facts. This is not some boring history tour, it's a fun stroll through the Plantation listening to the guides stories and tasting the fruits as you go. We were joined by the... More

We booked a tour online of the Firefly Plantation, and we were very impressed with the entire plantation and enjoyed learning about the fruits grown and produced here. We were able to taste fresh almonds (a treat for me, as I love almonds!), which were soft and very tasty - not like the hard, dried versions I am used to.... More

Firefly was an amazing experience. Let me share that we don't mind spending good money on a nice place for our holiday, but I usually find I am disappointed because the accommodation, based on what we paid ends up being below our expectations….not here! I find the room over delivers, they should be charging more! There is a ton of... More
