Meet me by the Almond Tree. This is where the ferries land, the taxis, the water taxis, the vegetable stands, souvenir stands, food markets, etc. From here you take Belmont Walkway to some of the most popular restaurants. More

Visited Port Elizabeth on March 20, I loved the shops--especially the farmers market and the bookstore. The port is clean and the people are friendly and helpful. The fruit and vegetables in the farmers market were so tasty. I wished I could have spent more time on Bequia. I would consider staying on Bequia in the future, It is not... More

Small, local, totally safe 24/24, idyllic location. Not so good when cruise ships come in, although mercifully the bay is too shallow for the monsters that are successfully wrecking every other Caribbean port. More

Lovely wee port very good anchorage with loads of boats of all kinds, the Walkway which is being re-built should be used by more people and the small shops, hotels and restaurants are always well used by all. We loved the port area with all maner of shops and the small fruit and vegetable market. All in all a lovely... More

Nice clean area, a few friendly dogs roaming, but wide selection of groceries, try the supermarket by the hospital, lots of choice. Excellent fresh food in the market. Taxis land and water, readily available, and the prices are fixed so no getting ripped off here. walk along the footpath up to gingerbread for coffee and cake. More

Mix of local essentials shopping, restaurants and tourist stalls. Most restaurants are on outskirts. Recommend the boat museum. Worth a walk definitely. More

Port Elisabeth is the heart and soul of active Bequia, where you can get everything you need from an ATM machine to scuba diving to restaurants and bars. Plenty of life, and the most low key hawkers you will ever meet. Much more activity and life than anywhere else in Bequia, but a 5 minute walk takes you out of... More

Arrived here on the ferry from Saint Vincent and was not disapointed. You will immediately be approached by taxi drivers. If like us, you just want to go to the beach, my suggestion is to walk out of port gates, then follow water line to the right until you get the The Gingerbread cafe. From there, they will ring you...
