I've been to Bequia on three wonderful trips. Each time I have been sure to schedule at least one or two day sails aboard the Friendship Rose. She is a 100 foot schooner hand built right there on Bequia. In fact, Captain Lewis was one of the builders. Whether sailing to the Tobago Cays for a great day of snorkeling... More

This trip is amazing value for money, absolutely everything is included. We spent a beautiful sunny breezy day ,sailing to Mustique. We were served a beautiful breakfast accompanied by endless tea and coffee. Once on Mustique we took a tour of this special island. We had about 3 hours to explore on our own and pick up souvenirs. Once back... More

Its an old Schooner that used to supply Bequia as a ferry but has been turned into a great tour boat. We had a great time even if the weather didnt co-operate. We saw whales, Dolphin, Flying gunard and had a great time at Tobago cays. The service on the boat is simply excellent. Dont miss a trip either to... More

Don't miss the trip to the Tobago Cays Marine Park which typically leaves Bequia on Monday and Thursday (weather depending). There are plenty of places in town to sign up or you can call them directly. We really enjoyed the sail, the boat is a lovingly maintained wooden schooner built by the captain in the 1960's. Comfortable seating in the... More

This trip had been highly recommended personally by friends who had traveled to Bequia before us. We booked in advance as we heard it could fill up. Went to the Tobago Cays and snorkeled which was wonderful. Maybe not quite enough time but still a fabulous snorkel with very clear waters. It is a sail boat but uses a diesel... More

We took two trips and loved every minute. Unlike many boats they put the sails up for nearly the whole voyage and with a strong wind and fairly high seas this was a thrilling experience. She is a beautiful boat to look at and the expert, friendly crew had answers to all our questions. Had time permitted we would gladly... More

Friendship Rose from Bequia to Tobago Cays & return. An essential trip for land-based visitors to Bequia, to experience the real Caribbean. Exhilarating, relaxing, superb marine scenery, wonderful captain & crew, excellent food & drinks, fabulous snorkelling and a beautiful historic schooner. Superlatives all the way! Many thanks to Captain Lewis, the crew & shore based team for a very... More

We had a very nice day on the Friendship Rose to Tobago Cays and back to Bequia. The Rose leaves around 7:00a.m. from Port Elizabeth and returns around 5:30p.m. Despite appearances the Friendship Rose is not purely sail powered - it does have diesel engines and the trip out to the Cays and back is mostly on engine power and... My wife and I went on the Friendship Rose recently, sailing from Bequia to Tobago Quays and back. The boat is a large old wooden sailing boat, with plenty of space for all the guests to lounge around on deck, whether in the shade or sun. The crew are from Bequia or the other Grenadine islands, very friendly, excellent sailors... More
