We visited this hotel during a recent trip to Nevis. The hotel is elegant and sophisticated. The owner has very good taste. The dining areas, tennis court and pool areas are designed with sharp clean lines. The view of the bay and water is breathtaking. The hotel is in the hills in a very upscale part of the island. The... More

I dined at Montpelier for breakfast during festive season and it was delicious. There is a continental breakfast offering with fresh juices, fruits, pastries, yogurt, granola, and assorted jams & jellies. You can also order off the hot menu as well. The egg white omelet was great. Valarie, our server, was attentive and friendly. The setting was very relaxing and... More

We just did the quick property tour. Nice example of a wind powered cane mill turned into a boutique hotel.

Fabulous lunch by the pool, beautiful chilled soup and salad. We were able to use the pool as it wasn't busy. Highly recommended, would love to stay next time.

Definitely leave the beach and do some sight seeing on this island. It is steeped in history -- both European and American. At one time, there were 300 sugar mills on the island all constructed from local limestone. Visit the remains of the lime kiln as well. Montpelier's old buildings are beautiful. Unfortunately it was closed when we visited, but... More

The house is full of character from the moment you pull up to it. Once inside it is colonial but also contemporary which was lovely. The menu is very short so we assumed the food was all freshly prepared. The service is excellent in both the bar and the restaurant. The food is not cheap but is of good quality.... More

We were free to roam about the ground and found out that Princess Diana had rented the entire facility.
