We loved the exotic feel of these gardens with their tiered landscape wrapped around the plantation house. We met the owner, a Mrs Christi Douglas who gave us a short tour of the garden as well. How wonderful was that?

We spent just under an hour strolling round the well laid out gardens - it was very hot so perhaps went round a little quicker than we otherwise would have if we'd wanted to sit and relax on one of the outside seats and admire the vista. The extra map/ guide isn't worth the additional cost as all the plants... More

We took a taxi on Nevis with many places on the agenda but spent the bulk of our time at the Botanical Gardens. We met a very friendly man named Terry who had been an employee/grounds landscaper for 30 years and did he know his stuff! Every person we met was genuinely friendly and took pride in their island.

We had a lovely couple of hours looking round these lovely gardens and sitting in the restaurant for a COLD drink, staring at the beautiful view. It is well worth paying the small admission fee to get in. There is also a well stocked gift shop with a range of better products than many similar shops, with the exception of... More

Beautiful gardens enhanced by a fantastic Thai restaurant right on site. Just a short walk from the Montpelier Plantation Relais Chateau luxury boutique resort.

We went here as part of a tour of the Island, the grounds are stunning, the range of flowers and plants is great and the grounds are maintained very well, photographs do not do it justice, it is a must if you visit Nevis

This is a beautiful gardens with stunning views over the Nevis coastline. Run by the most charming Phillipinos and serving really delicious Thai food on a cool colonial balcony. The iced coffee and fresh fruit juice were superb. Well worth a visit.

This is a beautiful garden. We loved the different plants and the whole scenery. We are from Florida so many of the plants at the gardens are native to our home state. While we walked around we were able to talk to the grounds manager and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were noticing that the thing missing throughout... More

We were at anchor in Nevis and decided to go and visit the Botanical Gardens. We are so glad that we made the effort as it is very beautiful and we also found it relaxing and stayed a good few hours also having lunch in the Oasis restaurant, will review this separately! The gardens are not the most spectacular but... More

This is without a doubt a lovely garden but it's not amazing. I would have liked it to have had more labels on trees and flowers. It's a nice stroll with a good variety of gardens. Nevis is a very small island so you may as well visit it.
