Beautiful gardens and well worth a visit. Within easy walking distance of the Montpelier Plantation. Lovely display of orchids and a Thai Restaurant on site with a gift shop underneath with a good range of clothes and gifts to take home.

We spent a couple of hours at the Nevis Botanical Gardens which were very well maintained and had different zones (orchid garden, palm walk etc.) and some pretty water features. However, I was expecting more variety if I'm being totally honest. There were lots of the same plants planted in pleasing layouts. That said, the gardens were incredibly peaceful, the... More

These gardens are pretty, but honestly I have seen better. Its still worth a trip, but go have lunch or a drink at the restaurant which has great views, that was fun, liked the gift shop too, a first.

We liked everything including the souvenirs shop! The gardens were beautiful and so well maintained. We took lots of wonderful pics and kids had a great time!

The gardens were not much more than Nice. It was peacefully quiet and serene but lacking in variety. Almost every aspect of the garden seemed to be dominated by bromeliads. There were some orchids but nothing extraordinary. I see better specimens where I live in Florida. The water features were pleasing and added some interest.

A very lovely place to visit, the gardiners were charming too, very happy to answer any questions. When I was there were only a handful of people so it was a very lovely peaceful time.

Well laid out and interesting gardens. Beautiful plantation house. Good selection and range of plants, as with everywhere on Nevis only a few other visitors

We really really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere in the gardens. It felt like paradise and we didn't leave for hours. We were able to really relax. And the staff as wellas the owners were exceptionaly friendly and helpful. Sonja and Patrick, SY Patonja, Switzerland

Although April may not be the best time to enjoy the gardens, there was still plenty to see. The place is very quiet and you can take as long as you like to look around. The water features were turned off during our visit- it would have been nice to see them running.

The Douglas Family took over this wonderful Botanical Garden, I think about 12 years ago. We went there at about the same time last year (Feb). It has become even more wonderful. Very well stocked & maintained. A further plus point is the upstairs restaurant, overlooking the gardens. You can sit on the verandah or inside It serves Thai food... More
