The property is a lovely estate to visit. We loved "talking" with the Macaws in the enclosed screen rooms and my three year old liked the koi. We ate at the restaurant upstairs and had the best red curry I ever ate and delicious, crafted cocktails.

Nevis doesn't have the back up to keep,a "botanical garden". The Las Vegas Nevada Americans who started this are no longer island residents so the place has fallen on hard times.

Though not a gardener, I really appreciated the wonderful layout, variety, statuary, ornaments and fountains. Staff were helpful and attentive, friendly and unobtrusive.

The hot weather with very little rain has taken a toll on this attraction. Not worth the time or $12/pp entrance fee. They have obviously spent time on the entrance (looks lush and vegetation is growing), but as soon as you continue walking all you see is dormant or dead vegetation. I'm sure when they get rain things will come... More

Spent a morning at the botanical gardens--thoroughly enjoyed it! The gentlemen who keep gardens were proud of their work--chatted with us and showed us the plants in the greenhouse. One kind man made sure we saw the cocoa plant & talked to us about how to prepare the cocoa. We saw so many exotic plants and even 3 parrots--one said... More

My wife and I were staying on St. Kitts and took our car to Nevis for the day via the car ferry. We stopped here to hike and have lunch. The ground here are full of plants and are very well manicured. The island views here are amazing too! We really enjoyed the drive to and from the botanical gardens... More

The gardens are lovely and very peaceful. There is a very extensive shop there with lots of interesting things to buy. We had refreshing drinks at the restaurant there overlooking Mount Nevis on one side and the ocean on the other. You can also eat there, there is a Thai restaurant with a very varied menu. Enjoy!

The Botanical Gardens are beautiful! We had a very lovely and scenic dinner at their Oasis Thai Restaurant. It was not the best Thai we have ever had but the service was outstanding ad we had a great evening, thank you so much Carol and Guy!!!

This is a must see on Nevis. The gardens are well maintained and the people there are very friendly. So many different types of plants and trees and all are labeled. This peaceful setting is a must see!

We loved the exotic feel of these gardens with their tiered landscape wrapped around the plantation house. We met the owner, a Mrs Christi Douglas who gave us a short tour of the garden as well. How wonderful was that?
