Description: Greg was born and brought up on St. Kitts and Nevis and following his...
Greg was born and brought up on St. Kitts and Nevis and following his return home from College in Nova Scotia Canada in 1980, started working at his Parents hotel, the Ocean Terrace Inn, with one of his jobs being to do tours for the hotels guests. While growing up on St. Kitts, Greg's parents became leaders in the local Tourism Industry, starting one of the first hotels in the islands, with Greg's Dad, eventually receiving the "Order of the British Empire" (OBE), from the St. Kitts Government for his outstanding achievements in local Industry. This has given Greg a unique grounding as well as a deep sense of understanding for his home country and coupled with his tourism training abroad, has allowed him to become one of leading and longest serving tour guides in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. Greg and his team of certified Tour Guides have won many awards from the Tourism Authority for their businesses high standards of service. From the very beginning Greg has used modified, 4X4 Land Rovers to do his "unique" island Safaris with. Being specially made, the 8 Land Rovers he uses today, are all open sided with mostly forward facing, stadium orientated seating, that provide his guests with the best way to experience exploring beyond the shores of St. Kitts and Nevis. Greg's Safaris is the only tour company in the Federation that uses 4X4 Land Rovers for touring on both islands! For your private, half days hiking pleasure, Greg has created two "unique looped hiking trails", one at the Phillips Mountain Valley (2 miles long), and at the other at the Wingfield River Valley (2 1/2 miles long), on St. Kitts. His company is also the only one on St. Kitts to offer driving tours from coast to coast through the lushly forested interior and while traveling through the mountains his guests would have access to a private 5 acre "mountain top property", perched1000 feet sea level, a place of cool temperatures and breathtaking views, that can only be experienced on a "one of kind" 4X4 Safari Tour with him and his guides. Greg is one of the founding members of the St. Christopher National Trust and as well, sits on the Central Forest Reserve National Park Committee. He is also a Life Member of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Brimstone Hill National Park and is also part owner of Sky Safaris, a company he started in 2009.

Greg is a true professional and will get you the inside scoop on your tour. He plans so as to avoid crowds and knows everyone everywhere you go. His safari vehicle is new and top-notch. As knowledgeable as can be, Greg is someone you will want to work with every time you visit St. Kitts.

This is our third time touring with Greg, we did the Valley of the Giants. It was incredible he knew so much about the history of the island. He knew what every sound was and plant. I am not a technical person but I really enjoyed the stories about the plants and animals. If you are in to nature you... More

Greg is very knowledgable about St. Kitts - its flora and fauna. He is also extremely good company. We enjoyed our trip up to the rainforest - Greg pointed out tree and plant species. He also had lots of island history to share, especially about the sugar cane industry. We even saw the island's monkey on our trip to the... More

Great trek in the rainforest. Our tour was guided by Greg himself. Very interesting with insight into economic and history. One stop on a private property with rum punch and a second stop at a private beach. Pick up and drop off near port.

We had a wonderful time discovering the island of St-Kitts with Greg and his team. We were a party of 19 (10 kids ranging from 9 to 17 and 9 adults), and they took us on the tour in two jeeps. Learned a lot about the island, its inhabitants and its history. Amazing views and very safe. Even got a... More

We originally booked to go on the St Kitts railway tour, booked through our cruise line but the railway trip was cancelled and they put on some extra Jeep Safari trips to give us an alternative. The trip was excellent, with some great commentary and Greg himself gave us an insight into the economics and history of the island (not... More

We really enjoyed our trek into the rainforest with Greg's Safaris. This was a tour organized through our cruise line, and I highly recommend it. We were a convoy of about three or four modified Jeep vehicles, and our guide was very pleasant and informative. We all stopped at a site which boasted beautiful views, and they didn't disappoint. We... More
