Greg was born and brought up on St. Kitts and Nevis and following his return home from College in Nova Scotia Canada in 1980, started working at his Parents hotel, the Ocean Terrace Inn, with one of his jobs being to do tours for the hotels guests. While growing up on St. Kitts, Greg's parents became leaders in the local Tourism Industry, starting one of the first hotels in the islands, with Greg's Dad, eventually receiving the "Order of the British Empire" (OBE), from the St. Kitts Government for his outstanding achievements in local Industry. This has given Greg a unique grounding as well as a deep sense of understanding for his home country and coupled with his tourism training abroad, has allowed him to become one of leading and longest serving tour guides in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. Greg and his team of certified Tour Guides have won many awards from the Tourism Authority for their businesses high standards of service. From the very beginning Greg has used modified, 4X4 Land Rovers to do his "unique" island Safaris with. Being specially made, the 8 Land Rovers he uses today, are all open sided with mostly forward facing, stadium orientated seating, that provide his guests with the best way to experience exploring beyond the shores of St. Kitts and Nevis. Greg's Safaris is the only tour company in the Federation that uses 4X4 Land Rovers for touring on both islands! For your private, half days hiking pleasure, Greg has created two "unique looped hiking trails", one at the Phillips Mountain Valley (2 miles long), and at the other at the Wingfield River Valley (2 1/2 miles long), on St. Kitts. His company is also the only one on St. Kitts to offer driving tours from coast to coast through the lushly forested interior and while traveling through the mountains his guests would have access to a private 5 acre "mountain top property", perched1000 feet sea level, a place of cool temperatures and breathtaking views, that can only be experienced on a "one of kind" 4X4 Safari Tour with him and his guides. Greg is one of the founding members of the St. Christopher National Trust and as well, sits on the Central Forest Reserve National Park Committee. He is also a Life Member of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Brimstone Hill National Park and is also part owner of Sky Safaris, a company he started in 2009.

We originally booked to go on the St Kitts railway tour, booked through our cruise line but the railway trip was cancelled and they put on some extra Jeep Safari trips to give us an alternative. The trip was excellent, with some great commentary and Greg himself gave us an insight into the economics and history of the island (not... More

We really enjoyed our trek into the rainforest with Greg's Safaris. This was a tour organized through our cruise line, and I highly recommend it. We were a convoy of about three or four modified Jeep vehicles, and our guide was very pleasant and informative. We all stopped at a site which boasted beautiful views, and they didn't disappoint. We... More

For our cruise day in St. Kitts we had contacted Greg's Safaris about the possibility of doing his Valley of the Giants tour. There was a minimum of four required so he couldn't promise anything at the time. However, the day the cruise was to sail I had an email from him - two other people had indicated interest. I... Kenrick took us on an awesome adventure! His knowledge of the rich, exotic histroy on the island and its people was amazing! We mingled with baby monkeys; walked the paths of a most beautiful botanical garden; witnessed talented women creating unique Batik clothing designs; and set foot on Romney Manor: the island's first plantation to free its enslaved. We ascended... More

Booked with RCCL and our party of 4 could not have been more satisfied. Greg was our driver and was very knowledgeable. The ride, views, and personal comments all added to the experience.

First of all, you need some porta potties and somewhere to wash your hands. Lunch included, now that is a farce. Scenery I'm sure is beautiful if you are not watching your every step. Make sure when you pay him that he realizes you did, or you are in for an uncomfortable conversation. Spend your money elsewhere for something more... More

Hello Kim, I am at at a loss for words ! Firstly, we do not offer a lunch on our half day tours, please see our web sites tour description, and we only offer a sandwich lunch on our full day hike to the Volcano crater. However, on all of our half day tours, as well as upon return to... More

Our recent trip to St. Kitt's was almost ruined when our much anticipated St Kitts railroad trip was cancelled at the last minute. We lucked into a Greg's Safari trip by luck, and boy were we the lucky ones!! Greg is a wealth of knowledge about the island and all things on St Kitt's. Our trip by Range Rover took... More

We booked the Valley of the Giants Hike and Batik Factory tour - and were pleased with the experience. In our group was just my family and 1 other family, a group of 9 in all. We saw 2 other groups that were 2 or 3 times the size on our way back down the trail and we think those... More

Hello, Please read our tour description more carefully as we do not offer a "lunch" on our "Valley of Giants and Batik Factory Tour", but rather an island picnic of unusual tropical Fruits in season, freshly baked coconut rock Cakes, tropical fruit sweets, like Guava cheese and coconut Fudge, local fruit juices, spring water and island rum! Also we always... More

Just thought that I would take a minute here to weigh in on this tour. A very well executed operation with very good staff and some absolutely amazing scenery. This is s great way to see the island for all that it has to offer on a cruise ship timetable. I would definitely recommend this.

We throughly enjoyed our afternoon hosted by Greg as he took us around the island that is his home. We went through Basseterre, up into the rainforest and had the local flora and fauna explained to us, went to a private home's gardens and had amazing views. We were then given drinks, guava or passion fruit juice, water or a... More
