My friend and I truly enjoyed our excursion starting with the tour from the port to the House with our very personable and knowledgeable driver, Michael, to the very pleasant couple of hours spent learning the history of the beautiful house and sampling rum with the outstanding Nakisha. What a pleasure she is! A true gem. It's a shame others... More

My husband and i did this day tour when we stopped here on our cruise. The tour was great and our tour guide, Nakisha, was a lot of fun. We learned about the history, got to taste some great rum and really enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommended!

We loved the tour of the Great House. It gave a good overview of life several hundred years ago. The rum tasting was fun and substantial. The rum was tasty as well. I loved the coffee flavored rum! Nakisha our guide was excellent, knew her island history, and she was entertaining.

We had a tour there from the cruise ship. We ate there and had drinks. The service was right on. The food was perfect. They went out of their way to make it special and it was. We would love to come back. The house is large and gives historical info on it. It would be okay for rain since... More

We went to this beautiful old sugar plantation for a Caribbean cooking demonstration from our cruise ship when on St. Kitt's. The food was great, the chef very informative and the grounds were really well manicured. The Good. 1. The food was wonderful and we really enjoyed the cooking demonstration. We had jerk pork, tasty vegetables, creole fish and rice... More

We visited on a Carnival shore excursion. Our group were the only people visiting at the time. The home was nothing spectacular. The rum was very good and the slide show informative. However, we paid $64 per person for the "tour" plus $20 per bottle of rum...which could be purchased in town for $12 per bottle. Definitely not worth the... More

Well, we did not have the rum as other people are discussing in this media. The bar was closed. But it is a very good impression of how the plantation owners lived in the 1900s. Beautiful house on top of a mountain with beautiful views of the ocean and nice gardens. There was a chef explaining how to cook, but... More

We had a nice bus ride through town where our driver gave us details about the history of the island. Then we arrived at a beautiful plantation home where we were taken on a tour and given the history of the plantation. There are amazing views of the ocean and island from the plantation house. Finally we were brought to... More

On a tour from our cruise ship we were delighted to tour this old home, the bath tub was VERY interesting. We had lunch cooked by a native chef, he explained the prep and the cooking methods, all done in an informative and entertaining manner. And the food was delicious. We also toured the gardens and had a nice bus... More
