The beaches and the scenery were spectacular!! You are on the strip of land between the Carribean and the Atlantic. These are the best beaches to swim and snorkel at in the country. The drive itself is an adventure and offers stunning scenery!

This is essentially the roads going from most resorts to the southernmost beaches, the nicest ones around. It is not as perilous as some have suggested, although the roads are not well kept, and you have to drive slowly. Some areas, and on top of certain hills like Sir Timothy's you have great views, but unfortunately, like a lot of... More

Some of the worst roads ever! Beware of rockfall and take care of your hire car. Alot of development work going on. Will be spoilt in 20 year's time.

If you do this drive in a rented car, you will earn your PHD, "pot hole dodger" certificate. But you will have great views and see a part of island which is unique. Reggae bar at the south end was a nice stop. A bit of island trivia, it's owned by the brother of Greg, of Greg's Safaris.

This area of the island is largely undeveloped but Christophe Harbour is developing a large portion is a fantastic way! The entry to its Sandy Bank Beach area is lushly landscaped and farther down the road, its Beach House, is a great place to dine.

Enjoyed the day but not to everyone's taste as it is becoming commercialised with a lot of construction going on.

I have to say that St. Kitts might be the prettiest of the islands I have seen. This view is nothing short of spectacular. We headed down the peninsula to snorkel. We changed our destination when we saw the first snorkel beach access choice. We ended up at Reggae Beach and it was a treat. The bar was welcoming, the... More

What a great view of the Atlantic and Caribbean sides, separated by a thin strip of land. You can see Nevis in the distance. Thanks to Royston for showing us this, and explaining the volcanic origins.
