I beg to differ. It is definitely worth the drive out to see the black rocks. I could stand on the cliff all day looking at the marvelous rock formations and the ever-changing waves of the Caribbean beating against them. This is an inspiring place of God-given natural beauty. If you are interested in purchasing trinkets, there are plenty available... more

We stoped at this site during both our island tour (provided by our taxi driver) and on the way to the volcano hike with Greg of Greg's Safari's. I would not pay the taxi fare or car rental to see it only, however it is a nice spot on the tour to get out and stretch for a few minutes... more

OK...its black rocks. What more do you say about it. Old lava flows into the Ocean. We hit this place at the end of the day on a Tuesday on our island tour...luckily for us. Interesting to see, but not worth driving out for on its own. Taxi driver, tour operator said that if a cruise ship is in port,... more

The driver stopped at the black rocks and told us to get out and take a look. When we got out we were in awe! There isn't anything to do in the area and in order to see the black rocks you basically have to look down a cliff. But the view is outstanding and made for one of the... more
