It's about a 5 mile round trip hike, relatively easy. Some of it does require walking on the rough karst rock but most is more trail like. The views are great, lots of seabirds on the walk, booby birds nesting just feet from the path. The lighthouse has a relaxed feel, somewhat desolate, but very enjoyable. Yes, you can drive... More

The island is small so it did not take us long to get to the opposite end. The light house is anti-climatic. The view from the bluff just past the light is awesome. It was nice being that high off the water to enjoy the view.

Terrific walk to see the brown boobies up close. Some fluffy babies, as well as adults nesting and soaring on the wind currents. They are not shy, and I was able to get some super photos. We started at Peter's cave, hiked thru the treed pasture then over the open bluff to the light house. Took us about 3 hrs... More

Be sure to wear good shoes, pack water & snacks. Most of all be in shape, the walk takes up to 1-2 hours depending on your level of health, time you want to spend. This is really a nice walk to break up diving.

Our family hiked a portion of the lighthouse trail and had amazing views of many nesting Brown Boobies. Our daughter loved being able to see eggs and baby chicks. Be sure to wear proper footwear and bring water and sunscreen.

If you join the trail at the lighthouse end then it is a 20-30 minute drive down a straight road at the top of the brac through the woods. We enjoyed seeing the farm animals along the way and searching for the parrots at the reserve. (No luck spotting them, however.) The view is amazing along the trail (or off... More

Very rugged and a wonderful way to pass a couple of hours on the bluff. Watch your step though because while there is a path it is quite grown-over in places and it is easy to put a foot wrong.

You don't go to this site for the lighthouse. Its just a steel structure but the view over the cliff is pretty cool. It is very hot on this end of the island so take water and good shoes, no sandals the iron shore will not be kind.

I am not sure which is the foothpath. I drove to the top of the brac where the light house is and walked all the way but did not go down to Peters cave. It was really hot so take an umbrella and water. At some point there are weeds covering the path so you have to traipse through weeds.... More
