Just a beautiful spot in this world. My wife just couldn't stop saying nice things and enjoying the moment. It's remote. There are NO services. There are NO people. There are NO potty's. Just take stuff....GO. DO NOT plan on snorkeling here. The tide is ridiculous. Go snorkel at Jackson Point.

I was a bit curious and hot when my partner insisted I tried this amazing spot called "Point of Sand".......(scratch head) its just a beach like the other beaches we been on living on this island. so like a spoilt child I walked far behind him and just when we reached the end of the trail..... what I saw as... I just returned from Little Cayman Island doing an Earthwatch Expedition with endangered corals. We went to the Point of Sand to see corals on the other side of the island from the Little Cayman Research Center. It is a beautiful area on the island with a sand entry into the ocean and easy to see reefs. There can be... More

When you catch it without anyone else in sight, this place truly is magical. It feels like being lost on a desert island without a care in the world. Still, beware of incredible and surprising currents when snorkeling.

Also it is really easy to get car stuck in sand. Try car mats but likely won't work as sand is really soft. Can also jack the car and put stuff under but this can be dangerous. Tell someone you are going there before you go and always have lots of water with you.

Completely quiet and stunning turquoise water. One of the most beautiful places I have ever been. If you are coming from around the mini-mall or airport area, it is a 10 mile cycle ride. Heading there we cycled into the wind, making it a tougher ride, but it was worth it once we found Point of Sand. Coming home is... More

The sand is white and the water is turquoise. Beautiful view and no people. To make the experience last, bring a book, towel to lay on, and sunscreen. Current is strong but still fine for a swim. Consider having a picnic out there. We went a step further and cooked kebabs on coals and it was fantastic! Bring a bug... More

BYOB, the dock at point of sand hangs over the most beautiful colored water, just watching the color change from her is worth the jaunt.

Park on road unless you have a four wheel drive! Sands are lovely, sea gorgeous with views across the Cayman Brac.
