We got to see unbelievable sights! Caught a 4-ft shark, saw huge stingrays, large schools of fish coming in! It was a beautiful place to go! Well worth the trip!

Really nice place to snorkel. Gentle slope to walk into the water, crystal clear, lot's of fish, pretty beach. There is a shelter house near the beach where you can picnic or at least get out of the sun if needed. That is the only facility. It's a barren, beautiful beach. You need to bring any food/water that you will... More

You get dropped off at the thatched roof hut, carry your snorkeling gear down the beach to the long pier, put your gear on and enjoy. You're in about a 3 knot current drifting past individual coral heads. It will take you back down to the hut where you can have another go if you like.

Gorgeous place. However, beach is covered with plastic washed ashore. Spent some time picking up trash - four of us came away with four huge green trash bags full of plastic crap. If you go there - do the same. And please reconsider buying over packaged nonsense like bottled water. Bags provided at shelter house.

Clear beautiful water but a lot of trash washed up on shore you feel like your alone on a deserted island with food and water provided by southern cross club. They drove us out there for about an hour which is long enlighten for husband and I .its nice to be able to walk right out into water

Long hot go to get there via bike, a welcome shelter to chill under. Bring plenty of water. Good snorkeling - brain coral, purple fans, parrot fish. Easy access to the reef, go at high tide if you can, mind the current off the dock. The sand is like super bright sugar.

Picnic tables available. Rent a scooter to get here since it's on the far Eastern end of the island. You can see Cayman Brac from here.

Very scenic and desolate. We were the only 2 people within eyesight for the couple hours we were there. We started to leave and a few people came up on bicycles. Super white sand, beautiful pier, clear water. The snorkeling was pretty good, we saw a stingray and eagle ray, but the current was super strong goin around the point.... More

My wife & I went out to "Point of Sand" Dec 2013 for a wonderful afternoon. We've found that any beach in the caribbean that isn't groomed daily will have some trash & debris,....thank you to the cruise ships that are obviously "dumping" at sea. Other than that,...absolutely delightful. Sun, fine, soft, pure white sand, beautiful clear water, good snorkeling,... More

On our day trip to Little Cayman we drove out to Point of Sand and simply turned back. Very much not in keeping with what the photos portrayed. Perhaps we were there on a bad day, as there was a lot of debris washed-up on the beach. We did not snorkel here, so that may be fine in this location;... More
