We stayed next door at the Plantana and I would swim over to the reef each day. The coral was nothing great, but there was a large variety of fish. Each day I saw something different. The only large creature was a barracuda one day. Saw angelfish, parrotfish, wrasse, snapper, and lots of other types that I can't identify. It... More

Governor's Beach was simply breathtaking. The water is so crystal clear that one can see everything. The sand is white and soft. Just perfect.

Great beach! Some trees providing shade if required. More importantly, I spotted a 7’ nurse shark in the small reef just a short swim out from the beach. I enjoyed Governor’s Beach more during the evenings on the weekdays. It was much busier on weekends.

Undoubtedly one of the nicest beaches around. Maui, Cuba, Playa del Carmen or even Costa Rica, each have their own highlights, some nicer, but this beach is best all round. Close to all kinds of hotels, restaurants and bars the location is perfect. All kinds of families and singles are here. Whether it's rooftop sunset yoga, paddle boarding on the... More

Clean quiet and a great reef to snorkel to. This beach offers sun or shade with a great coffee shop right across the street

Very quite beach and great water beach. Warm water without any turtle grass. Place to park, but no facilities.

This was where we spent our time on Seven Mile Beach. It was so clean, peaceful, and absolutely breath taking. The white sand and crystal clear water was gorgeous.

great place to take the kids swimming and there are trees around where you can set up and get some much needed shade. If you get tired of sitting on the beach there is a reef about 100 yards from shore you can swim to and snorkel.

Next to Governors House, by the Westin. Nice and private. Gorgeous water, gentle and calm. Bring credit card if you want to wander over to the Westin for a nice cool drink, they don't take cash?? Odd.
