Festive local nightlife scene

Had a blast bellying-up with locals. Pleasantly surprised at the amount of worldwide sports playing on the TVs

We watched the Super Bowl at Lone Star with some Cayman friends. The atmosphere was fun and loud. Great drink specials. Lots of freebies! The place was crowded. Average bar food. Need more bathrooms!

Awesome place to watch a game - outdoors is especially nice. Staff will turn on whichever game you're hoping to watch (American or any other location for which they have the station). Very friendly service. Great food and a noisy, fun atmosphere.

We had spent the day diving and we're both starving. We tried to go to Macabuca for the all you can eat BBQ on Monday night. When we got there, we realized they were closed for the national holiday. We headed back south, toward seven mile beach, figuring we would find someplace open. We ran into the Lone Star Bar... More

Pretentious atmosphere. Typical Texas style bar/restaurant you would find in the states. My friend commented on the "frat boy" crowd and vibe of the place. Bar service was slow. Unimpressed. We stayed maybe 10 minutes before going down the street and finding laid back locals to chill with.

Came for dinner changed our kinds after the service for drinks. Waitress came then we never saw,her again had to track her down to get the bill for the drinks so we could go elsewhere for dinner. Usually one of our favourite places over the past 10 years but with service like this it is off our list there are... More

Because we were baby sitting the grandchildren and needing somewhere close for a takeaway we tried the Lone Star. The food was revolting. The pulled pork sandwich was a soggy mess and the bun tasted like it had been run under a tap of cold water. The French fries were unrecognisable, just a mass of soggy brown stuff ! If... More

I spent most of the day Sunday at Lone star watching NFL Games. Bartenders and people were very friendly and they had all the games on. WiFi is available at the bar too so you can keep track of your fantasy team! The food was great and the local Cayman Brew was very good. I went back on Thursday night... More

Loved the atmosphere and the bartender. The nachos were hot and the beer was cold. The outdoor bar was pleasantly cool and the football on the flat screens was an added touch
