Loved this trip. The price was right and there was a lot of bang for your buck. The crew was very knowledgeable and helpful with snorkel instructions, getting on and off the ship, etc... The stingrays were a lot of fun. The crew helped you hold the stingrays while taking pictures. After it was done, they showed us where the... More

We were on another tour when this tour pulled up. Not only was the group loud and disrespectful of everyone else, but the guides picked these beautiful animals out of the water for the passengers to see. When they did this, the rays were spurting, gasping for air. This is illegal!!! there used to be "ray police" to discourage this,... More

To people concerned with the human interaction with the stingrays at Stingray City Sandbar: Dear concerned traveler from another vessel not with Capt. Bryans, I am a volunteer fisheries officer and have sat as a member of the Conservation Board for an excess of 10 years. I would like to address your concerns: Legally, stingrays are allowed to be partially... More

We went to the dock a day early where the captain told us the stingray tour was on a small boat. When we arrived the day of the tour, we found a larger boat with a large group. It was not as promised and the sand bar was full of groupss who were loud abd disrespectful of the environment. I... More

To Carol Ann Giovando: Ms. Carol Ann Giovando, on 14 November 2014, the morning of the tour you called my office and inquired about a tour. We told you we had a 12:00-3:00 tour on Bucaneer and you were quite happy to go on it. There was no discussion about what size boat or how many customers. These discussions never... More

This was a great tour. The crew was very nice and accommodating. It was a small group of us and they took us to some beautiful spots for snorkelling and we also went to see stingrays. It was wonderful. I would bring snacks along if you want to eat anything. Our captains name was Bruce and he was wonderful as... More

Absolutely the best snorkeling experience for beginners like my husband and myself. Do be aware that they are a much smaller operation than the big cruise line packages and were a bit hard to locate at first, but just ask one of the friendly locals and we were directed right to the waiting area. We took a chance, based on... More

This tour sounded great when we read about it, and while the stingrays did not disappoint, the crew was quite a bit of a letdown. After finally finding them at the pier, in the exact opposite direction listed on our reservation, we left on-time and headed for the vans. The driver insisted we line up and walk two by two... This was an excursion that started off great and only got better. We met on time and left our tent for a 30 second walk to our bus. Then off to Captain Bryan's boat. When we got to the boat we were greeted by the crew and removed our shoes and boarded. We were then off for our adventure. We... More

We booked through Island Marketing online before we arrived. We met them right on the pier when I got off the cruse ship. We boarded a small bus for a 10 minute ride to the catermeran. There were a total of 15 people on it. We sailed out into the ocean for about 30 minutes until we arrived at Stingray... More

We had a group of 13, and we had the boat to ourselves. The only bad thing I can say is, the weather didn't allow us to snorkel on the reef...dangit. The crew was great, and I would highly recommend this to everyone!

I will start off by saying that for $40 a person, you can't beat this excursion. It was definitely worth the cost, but it is very bare bones and no frills. Jake and Justin were very knowledgeable and nice, but not overly friendly. We were on the Hannibal boat, and when we checked in were told the sail was being... More
