White, cool sand underfoot, calm waters, good snorkeling, mostly uncrowded, good for walking, and scenic. Has everything a beach should be in the tropics.

This beach is simply the absolute best I have ever been to. Compared to Hawaii and California, there is no competition. The white sand. Turquoise blue see through water. Calm. Uncrowded. Simply the best.

Warnings 1) This not a beach for snorkeling, you have to go pretty far out. 2) This is not a beach to visit when cruise ships are in. A lot of folks are carted out here. Best things about the beach: 1) Fantastic location and amazing beachfront. 2) Chairs and sand 3) Restaurant (Calico Jack's) and facilities 4) Gazebos available... More

Purposely went when cruise ships were not around. Ask your front desk and they have a list of when ships or in/out. I have seen crystal clear carribean waters before, so it was not big deal. Very commercialized eg. Wendy's, Burger King, KFC Also, we do not travel to shop, so if shopping is your thing then Georgetown and Seven... More

Beautiful beach, white sand, shallow walk out to the ocean. Great for snorkel, swimming, or running! No beach gypsy's to bother you to buy junk. All hotels in the area are walk in from the beach making this a easy beach to walk down, bar hop, or check out other hotels. If you get too far, it is easy to... More

One of the most beautiful beaches in the world. And, once you go, you will know why. Stay away from the crowds in front of the Marriott and down where the tours dump all the tourist off the cruise ships for the day. Every where else, it is a white sandy beach on the clear blue Caribbean sea. Having been... More
