It's lovely that the island has so many public entrances. We stayed right on the beach, but I hated how busy our space got with all of the tourists that are dropped off by the cruise ships. Brings a lot of trash to the beach.

It doesn't get better than this. Cool refreshing breezes and miles upon miles of white sand beaches. What's not to like...

Soft sand and calm clear waters make this a great beach. Sand does not get hot and ocean floor is also totally sandy after some small rough sand upon entry when you first enter the water where the waves break on shore. the beach is very long, hence the name, and at various points there are 'Beach Clubs' that have... Seven MIle Beach has got to be the reason people come here. Soft white sand, turquoise waters and bars, restaurants and hotels overlooking it all. Not the most affordable place I've ever been though and I have found great beaches in Jamaica and the Gulf side of Florida that are just as nice but less costly.

Not too far from the pier. Easy to get there. The beach was clean, easy access to showers and change rooms. It gets deep quick so you have to stay with your little children at all times. They have a good selection of water sports and games. From the pier, we were charged $5 per person to get there and... More

The most pristine water you will ever see with awesome snorkeling right off the beach. Whether you are at a resort right on the beach or not are many " public beaches" along the strip that are just wonderful and usually less crowded than the hotels....you don't even need a car, the buses will drop you off right in front.... We are currently celebrating our ninth stay on seven mile beach. There is no other place like it on the island. The beach and the swimming, snorkelling all along the beach are second to none. It's close proximity to shopping, sight seeing makes getting around very easy. The closer you get to George Town the less likely you will need... More

Nice beach, great sunsets. Most of the stuff on the island is here. Most beaches are a part of the hotel property

This beach is incredible and HUGE (though not 7mi long - about 4). Walk along and see all the fancy resorts, dip into the water, go snorkeling at a number of sites for good fish sightings. Though for the real deal get away from the beach to see the real colors of the coral.
