Owner description: DON FOSTER'S DIVE CAYMAN is a full-service dive operation in the Cayman Islands. Established on Grand Cayman since 1982 and located on the waterfront 3/10 mile south of George Town, Don Foster’s is fronted by Casuarina Point Reef, where you will find excellent shore diving and snorkeling. We have a large dive shop offering dive and snorkel gear rental, t-shirts, souvenirs, drinks and snacks. My daughter did the beginner dive while our cruise was in port. It was GORGEOUS! Staff-top notch, safety oriented, passionate, serious but still fun. Facility- awesome, I Relaxed on lounge chairs on a pier over the water while she was in class. 5 stars all around

This tour was the Shipwreck and Reef Snorkeling trip. Taking this tour was a last minute decision but I'm so glad I did. The crew were fabulous allowing people to explore but still available for any help needed. There were several young children but they all seemed to enjoy the adventure. I've snorkeled in Hawaii but this was my first... More

John and Lee made this trip a memory of a lifetime! We had never been before and couldn't have asked for a better time. I HIGHLY recommend this tour of the reef to everyone....except when I go back. Hahaha. I'd like to have this all to ourselves. =) We saw so much! 5 and 6 very large stingrays at a... More

We are so glad to hear you had such a great experience! The Coral Gardens trip is an awesome way to check out the marine life around the barrier reef PLUS have a chance to hang out with the Stingrays. Happy to hear you got some good pictures with the rays! We'll be sure to tell Lee and John you... More

While any review of a snorkeling trip is largely predicated on the location and weather, the fact remains that Don Foster's Diving provided a wonderful experience. My wife and I have been on other snorkel adventures where the majority of the time is spent getting to and from the snorkel site. Not so in Grand Cayman. The reef and the... More

Great to hear from you! The wreck and reef snorkel excursion is one of our favorite trips because there is so much history (and marine life) so close to the shore! We're glad your wife was able to take a look at the wreck and get to experience the Cali first hand! Hope to see you again. More

Had the pleasure of doing an excursion with this outfit through Princess cruises - very professional, no complaints about the equipment friendly, experienced staff. Good value for what it cost !! Would definitely recommend

We just returned from Grand Cayman, and had an absolutely perfect experience on this excursion! The crew on our boat was wonderful, and our time with these awe inspiring rays was one of the highlights of any trip we've taken!!! We were very well instructed, and our safety, as well as the safety of the rays was always the crew's... More

Wow! It is great to hear that you had such a wonderful time. Going to Stingray City really is a magical experience and it sounds like you now have a first hand account of how amazing the creatures can be. While it is important to the Captain and his crew to help everyone have fun, it is of utmost importance... More

I do not usually write reviews but in this case I felt it was imporant to share the following. Spent 4 days diving with the team at Don Fosters. I have to admit that i have been all over the world diving and to be quite honest..... Don Fosters is right up there as one of the best shops. It... More

Captain Jack - Thanks for your review! We always appreciate feedback from divers who have had experiences that allow for them to compare to their time with us. While Grand Cayman is, as you mentioned, naturally a beautiful diving destination, we do strive to help our divers feel like they can kick back and relax on vacation. Additionally, our divemasters... First shore dive experience was a good one. Entrance is from a dock which is nicer than wading in and fighting waves. The shore dive experience gets you in and out quickly because you don;t have to allow time for the boat ride, but you do need to be able to carry and setup your own gear (which is available... More

Thanks for your review, Mark! We are happy that you enjoyed your shore dive. We are very lucky to have such a beautiful reef off of our shop and we are always excited to share the marine diversity that this reef provides with other divers. Hope to dive with you again! More

I was very nervous, and I didn't think I would make it past the instruction pool! But, our instructor, Joaquin, was very patient, and I would recommend him to anyone! We were able to go to depths up to 39 feet, and we completed a 47 minute dive! It was a bit scary and unnatural for me, but I was... More

Thanks, Wendy for your kind review. Joaquin and all of our great instructors are experienced in showing our new divers that diving is fun and safe and they can calm the most jittery nerves. We're glad that you got to enjoy this experience and we know there is nothing else quite as amazing as diving. More

We booked this dive vacation to celebrate my birthday and we were pleased to find that Don Fosters is one of the few dive shops on the island that operates at full capacity even in the slow season. For the last two days of diving we had the whole boat to ourselves, was pretty much like a private charter, on... More
