My wife, son (age 12) and I took Gilbert's tour to the interior of Grand Cayman. I wasn't excited about the tour, but my wife really wanted to go, so we went. I have to say, the tour was fabulous and well worth the money. Gilbert is a great guy and quite a character. He really knows the island well.... More

My husband and I booked Gilbert's tour before our other guests had arrived and paid for the outing. When our friends arrived, one of them had a illness and did not want to go for the extended 7 hour trip, for obvious reasons. We had to cancel the next morning because we are the 'all for one, one for all'... More

We were introduced to Gilbert at our resort that we were staying with and immediatly hit it off with him. For $99 per person, we spent the day with an Islander that was so Knowledgeable about his culture, the island, its founders and everthing in general. We toured what we wanted to tour. He took us to see where the... More

My husband and I went on Gilbert's island tour in May, 2014 and it was a 7 hour trip that included snorkeling at 2 locations, a drive tour of the entire island with historical perspective, a seafood lunch including turtle and Mahi (delicious!) right by the water, a nature hike through a preserve, we visited the "blowholes" for pics, visited... I went with one other friend on this trip not knowing what to expect. We speant the day seeing the island, eating the native food and it was so worth the trip. Gilbert was so accomadating. My friend and I wanted to hike the entire mastic trail and he gave us time to do that. I learned more about the... More

Joe Tourist, "Big Joe", Gilbert Nicoletta is a must. Spending the better part of a day with Gil on a customized tour was so very enjoyable for each one of the four of us in our group. Gil is a Caymanian--a big man with a big personality and a big heart. He desires to please his guests with a memorable... More

If you are interested in a personalized tour of Grand Cayman then give Gilbert a call. I had met Gilbert before and had been to Cayman several times before taking his tour. He's funny and knowledgeable and tells great stories. We had a group of 4 who had not met before (1 married couple, plus 2 singles) so Gilbert drove... More

Don't get me wrong, Gilbert was a real nice guy, but this tour is NOT fair and cost us a lot of money. So, I'll save you $125 per person and you may rent a car and give yourself the tour free of charge! 1. Rent a car & grab a map 2. Follow Gilbert around on his motorcycle as... More

We started off by doing some snorkelling while learning about the area around us. Gil was very informative and laid back at the same time. We also visited Starfish Point, the Blow Holes and the Mastic trail, where he told us about the history and plants/trees around us. We also stopped at Over the Edge restaurant for a delicious and... Gilbert put together a personalized tour of a beautiful uncrowded beach, the mastic trail, caves, the blow holes and a meal at Over the Edge Cafe. He was very informative about the native culture, eco-systems and animals. He's a great guide and we are glad that we were directed to his company!
