If your interest is non-stop partying or SCUBA diving, this excursion is not for you. If however, you wish to tour Grand Cayman as a local and see sights that you might not see without the guidance of a native Caymanian, I highly recommend this tour. We met Big Joe aka Gilbert during a presentation at our hotel. After hearing... More

This trip was a surreal experience into undiscovered territory. Relaxing on your own private island sandbar with curious displaced sting rays hoping to catch some food scraps. Our guide Gilbert, took us across this quiet desolate Island where you only blame the wind for noise pollution. This was the second trip my family has taken with Joe Tourist and both... More

I highly recommend taking this tour. It is unique in only a way a native Caymanian can show it. Gilbert specializes in what his group wants to do, and goes off the beaten path to show them. We took the extended tour which allowed us to see much more than we ever expected or could have ever imagined. I came... More

After the presentation that Gilbert gave about his tour we knew that we would be booking a tour with him. He promised a lot and delivered on 100% of those promises. We got to try many of the fruits on the island like, hiked to learn about the wild life and vegetation of the island (and their medicinal uses), ate... More

My wife, son (age 12) and I took Gilbert's tour to the interior of Grand Cayman. I wasn't excited about the tour, but my wife really wanted to go, so we went. I have to say, the tour was fabulous and well worth the money. Gilbert is a great guy and quite a character. He really knows the island well.... More

My husband and I booked Gilbert's tour before our other guests had arrived and paid for the outing. When our friends arrived, one of them had a illness and did not want to go for the extended 7 hour trip, for obvious reasons. We had to cancel the next morning because we are the 'all for one, one for all'... More

We were introduced to Gilbert at our resort that we were staying with and immediatly hit it off with him. For $99 per person, we spent the day with an Islander that was so Knowledgeable about his culture, the island, its founders and everthing in general. We toured what we wanted to tour. He took us to see where the... More

My husband and I went on Gilbert's island tour in May, 2014 and it was a 7 hour trip that included snorkeling at 2 locations, a drive tour of the entire island with historical perspective, a seafood lunch including turtle and Mahi (delicious!) right by the water, a nature hike through a preserve, we visited the "blowholes" for pics, visited...
