Had a great time with our friends Terry & Pattie from Pa. Joe always does a great tour. Especially enjoyed the caves by the water. Will certainly plan another tour when we return to the island. Joe is very knowledgeable about the island & surroundings.

We met Gilbert (Joe Tourist) at our condo (Grand Caymanian) during the island attractions event. We spent the day with him later in the week. Met at hsi place sampled fresh Mango from the tree. Looked at local flowers and trees. then went out on the road. went snorkling at Bodden Beach. Say a good sized eagle ray in less... More

My wife and I along with our best friends spent the day with Gilbert of Joe tourist tours. Being a culture and history buff he was great, pointing out the little things that most people pass by on their way to the "attractions" that the ships reccomend. We were treated to a local perspective and snorkled in a local bay,... More

My wife and I spent an afternoon with Gilbert Nicoletta touring the Eastern parts of Grand Cayman Island not so familiar to most visitors. The tour was great. We saw native plants and fruits, spotted rare (and not so rare) birds, walked the ancient Mistic Trail, and visited Boddentown, North Side, and East End. He had arranged a delicious special... More

I love it! Caravan touring was so much fun. Fantastic local cuisine at a REAL caymanian restaurant. Local points of interest on the fly, a forest, foliage, nature and history tour all in one. The pirate cave was awesome and the sunset on the beach beautiful. I never knew a sunset could look like that. Joe is great with a camera,... More

Big Joe aka Gilbert came to our resort orientation and gave a big sell about how fabulous his tours are. We wanted to learn about the island, from a native, who claimed to know a lot (he said he is 3rd generation Caymanian). The afternoon was disappointing in all ways! First, he charged as $85 U.S. per person, which we... More

When my wife and I travel with our two young daughters (5 & 8 y.o.), we try to mix in cultural/adventure activities with more typical kid-friendly stuff. Although our daughters were a bit taken aback by Gilbert's big frame & motorcycle-tough look, we were impressed enough with his knowledgeable, genuine, and mild-mannered demeanor to give him a shot. When he... More

The tour was customized for our group and turned out to be a very exciting adventure. The trials and history of the islands was intriguing, the vegetation and wildlife was captivating, the caves and blow holes was adventurous. The cusine at the local restaurant and fruits of the islands was delicious. The day was filled with adventure and Caymanian history.... More

The tour requires you to have a car. If you've rented one, no need to pay for things you can do for free on your own. You can access the sites on your own. We added snorkeling to the basic tour, for an additional fee of course. We were taken to Rum Point, a heavily used public beach with little... More
