The National Trust Visitor Center is on the outskirt of George Town along the shoreline. We stopped by to check details about the Mastic Trail and Blue Iguana tour. The staff is very friendly and provided us a lot of information. The Mastic trail tour is fantastic, our guide Paul is very knowledgeable and explained a lot of plants, birds... More

We had 3 couples with Stuart on a morning hike. Stuart was timely and very knowledgeable. The hike is easy - almost all flat ground with just a few small sections on ancient coral. Stuart sets a very easy pace and stops often to point out plants, birds, reptiles and geological sights. He includes a bit of history with his... More

I visited the centre after my tour of the Mastic Trail. The centre has a variety of books, gifts and maps available for purchase. I picked up a small book with pictures and descriptions of the wildlife that is native on the Mastic Trail.

I worked for the National Trust and I think if you have time to visit there gift shop you will meet the staff that does it all. Each one can give you information you wont find any where else. Worth the 5 minute taxi ride.

Great set of information that will help you explore the island. Pick up a map and other booklets about the attractions and other places on the island.

The National Trust Visitors' Centre is a beautiful bungalow along the seaside road east of George Town, Grand Cayman. Set in landscaped grounds with a small amphitheatre that gives onto the Caribbean Sea, the Centre gardens offer a quiet haven to the traveller. Within, the bungalow has a variety of displays about Cayman wildlife: plants and animals indigenous and endemic.... More

The park which this visitor's centre is located is about a mile from the centre of town and was donated by Cayman largest developer. It is very nicely laid out and offers free park to escape from the cruise ship shop centre of town.

My extended family – my wife and our four young kids, plus my folks and my brother – had the opportunity to hike the Mastic Trail on Grand Cayman with Stuart Mailer & his wife on December 27, 2010. For our outdoorsy family, this relaxed morning was the perfect antidote to the rushed fun of the commercial tourism which plagues... More
