Go for the blue wristband and enjoy a full day here. The turtles themselves are magnificent - see the complete life cycle from eggs to 40 stone giants, and handle the little ones - stroke them under the chin to keep them happy! The walk-in aviary is beautiful - wait till those scarlet ibises eat out of your hand! Lots... more
Ok, this is something I would have normally not cared to see. However, my 20 month old daughter is addicted to turtles right now and I thought this would be amazing for her. When you arrive all around you in the lobby and gift shop you can smell the fresh money. It's beautiful. You think, 'oh this is going to... more
Skip the higher priced tour (unless this will be the only way to snorkel with young children). Our kids loved seeing and holding the turtles up close and feeding them. We joked everytime we saw a mansion on the Island that they must own the turtle farm. It was clean and the kids loved it. more

The breeding tanks was great to see and trying to hold the little turtles was great. It was very clean and great... more

People were grabbing some of the younger ones right out of their tanks so they could have their pictures taken with them and there was no one... more
We went to the Boatswain's Beach/Cayman Turtle Farm on a cruise ship excursion during the first week of November 2007. The trip was coordinated by the cruise ship which, by nature, is overpriced to begin with. The weather was mediocre that day and the sun was peeking out between rounds of light drizzle but my kids enjoyed it nonetheless. We... more
How the Cayman Turtle Farm has changed since the time I grew up in West Bay during the 1970s !!! $75US for the wet tour! Yikes!! The website claims an $18 entrance, but I could not get in for less than $50US. What gives? I visted the new location across West Bay Road which replaced what used to be a... more
