We took the kids to the turtle farm our first day at GCI. Though it was quite expensive for the full access, we thoroughly enjoyed it. I was blown away by the size of the turtles in the main pond. They were amazing. We bought food for the kids to feed them. My son then chased an iguana down the... more

This was a waste of money. The whole place stinks literally. I know they're turtles and they are not made of perfume but come on Sewers smell better than this. The shark tank hasn't been cleaned in so long you can barely see the sharks. The workers there were very rude (with the exception of 1 security guard who opened... more

We went to Boatswain's Beach in April 2009 with our 11- and 14-year-old sons. We were pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable this park was. We got the full ticket, so we could see the Turtle Farm and also the iguanas, birds, snorkeling lagoons and shark tank. Large iguanas are everywhere! You can feed giant sea turtles. You can hold baby... more

Our visit to the Turtle Farm was a memorable experience. We came face to face with huge sea turtles and held several of the smaller ones. Our tour guide was very friendly and informative. In addition to the turtles, there is a pool with sharks and other fish. This is a "must see" stop for any Grand Cayman visit. more

Have you seen a turtle before? An iguana? Well, then you may as well stay on the ship. This is just more turtles and more iguanas. Also on the usual tour: hell. A small area of black, pointy rocks. What a rip-off. more

We spent a glorious day seeing animals we could never see in the wild. We had a great time holding the young turtles. Where else do you get the chance to catch a sea turtle and feel thier weight and touch the smooth texture of the shell. There weren't any cruise shps in port the day we were there so... more

I did the basic admission which was to the turtle farm and breeding grounds. It was a little pricey, but enjoyed the experience overall. You even get to hold the turtles. I would recommend this if kids are in your group. more

First of all, a few of things that people seem to miss: 1) This is a farm. Like all farms, animals are raised here. If you wouldn't want to visit a working farm because the doe-eyed cows will potentially be sold to slaughter, then don't visit here. Is it as filthy as some people say? Absolutely not. Is it dirty... more

We took the city bus to the turtle farm, otherwise I would be upset at the cost. It was a bit far and a taxi would add to the high price to get into the farm. There are some smaller turtles that you can hold for pictures, just grab one out of the tanks! more

We took our children to the turtle farm and I feel I was somewhat naive. When you enter a guide will tell you how this is a fantastic place to help the conservation of turtles and 20% are released every year. I could not get a direct answer as to what happens to the other turtles but did hear from... more
