Downtown Georgetown was just a touristy place. Nothing great. We swam with the stingrays and had a blast. The water was crystal clear and the stingrays were just out swimming in the ocean, not in an enclosure. We went with Captain Bryan. We found them online through Island Marketing. It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it.

My last visit to the Island, I needed to look at furniture. After visiting a few of the big box stores, I happened upon Sticks and Stones. What an amazing shop. Teak, Teak, and more Teak. Beautiful boat wood furniture, and after learning it is reclaimed was more enthused. Outdoor patio living spaces to make your outdoor visiting more enjoyable,... More

The Cayman Islands are an overseas territory of the United Kingdom but apparently exercise some degree of local autonomy, which may be why George Town has an ordinance against the panhandling and street vending that are commonplace in other Caribbean ports. We only spent one afternoon there, which was divided between walking around town, doing a little bit of shopping... More

We stayed at the Westin for the week and one day decided to take a bus to the more commercial area of the major 'city' George Town to do a little shopping and walk around for a bit. A nice, typical tourist spot to walk around along the harbor and do some souvenir shopping. Some nice luxury shops if you... More

While on a cruise we stopped in the Caymans. I was looking for a specific design in a new pair of earrings. After checking out 4 jewelry stores and coming up empty handed I found Milando Diamond Gallery on 6 Albert Panton St near the cruise port. I worked with both Andy and Nathaly who were able to custom change... More

Loved the shopping for clothing and gifts for my family. Beware of the jewelry store called Diamonds International. Had a very bad experience and jewelry not made very well. Too much money for the jewelry, quality very poor

I enjoyed spending a little time in Georgetown when we had a day there. It is very touristy so I didn't spend too much time there. There are some nice shops and places to eat.

This was such an awesome experience! Mikey and Bert from Marineland Tours were very knowledgeable about the stingrays and told us a lot of information about them. They definitely knew what they were doing and you could tell that they really loved their job. They made the experience very fun and enjoyable!! If I ever go back to Grand Cayman,... More

The cruise ship tender takes you right into downtown Georgetown, which is very walkable and has good duty free shopping - particularly jewelry and watches (although I bought a handbag from Todus a Spanish brand). Its very easy to get around in the condensed area and several restaurants nearby. We were suppose to go to west bay but they wanted... More
