I've been here twice, on a cruise, and I love this place. We toured on the first trip...Tortuga Rum Co, Hell and The Turtle Farm. The second time I just walked around and enjoyed myself. I shopped, sat for a while, talked to a couple of locals. Had a great time...lots of jewelry stores close to the pier. Yes, I... More

Grand Cayman is known for their water sports. The port is full of tacky shopping. If you can help it find a way to leave the port. However, we came across a new family owned restaurant named "Beefers". It's bright orange and faces the ships and beautiful water at the port. Delicious food and nice family.

The Red Sail Sports - Watersports in Grand Cayman Islands was fantastic service at the Westin Hotel. Thank you to my teach on the paddle board, Albert Welcome, he was the best teacher and help!

Shop or sunbathe? Georgetown has them both. I love the quiet atmosphere on Saturday when you can go window shopping ( oir shopping tax free!) without being pestered by cruise crowds. Sunday is excellent for a bike ride to town, as there is almost no traffic ( all shops are closed) and you can park your bike close to Devil's... More

This is a fun place to shop for touristy items such as magnets, coffee cups, t-shirts, key chains, shell wind chimes, etc. It is very clean, right by the water (lovely views) and we did shop a bit, but found that many stores had the same type of merchandise. So we went to Hard Rock Cafe for a beer and... More

The best time to take in downtown Georgetown is Saturdays when there are no cruise ships in port. If you are vacationing on Grand Cayman, consider visiting Georgetown when there is no more than one cruise ship in Port. Merchants and restaurants will be less busy and your experience will be more enjoyable.

Great place to shop or dive an snorkel. As in the rest of the Caribbean, you will not fine "cheap" gem stones. And that is because of the size and quality of them. Stick to reputable stores and educate yourself before you shop. The beaches are nice and unbeatable diving experiences await you!

Georgetown is a neat place, but don't spend all of your time here. There are many better things to see along the island within walking distance and bus distance-a mere $2.50 USD will get you pretty much anywhere. And $5.00 USD will get you literally to the other side of the island. Oh, and a nice little bit of info... More

I wouldn't want to spend my entire vacation here, but it's definitely worth checking out. If you're looking for souvenirs, this is your one stop shop. The prices are pretty reasonable and there are tons of stores trying to sell to you. There are also a lot of restaurants and snack spots. Like I said, stop by here for a... More

Shopping in Georgetown is nice when the cruise ships are not in town. Many shops and restaurants to choose from. Friendly people to provide recommendations. Look for local crafts and food.
