As the title says, the experience of seeing free live rays is incredible. Even more, because your in the middle of the sea (in a sandbank) with the water at your waist. You get to feed the rays small chunks of calamari. Our tour included a trip in a catamaran, Was very nice and the skipper very professional and friendly.... More

This is one of the experiences that you need to do at least once in your life! After getting in the water with the stingrays they liked to hover over your head so the air bubbles from our regulators would pass through their gills! Their underside soft and smooth and the topside was slick like a channel catfish! I would... More

I am not squeemish, but I am not overly adventurous. I typically evaluate risk and take small chances. I was nervous about this one, but it turned out to be one of the most memorable things in my lifetime. Utterly astonishing how they just swim right up to you, friendly and curious. Get over the initial shock and think about... More

Many different charter operations can take you to this location. Its a few miles off the coast, can only access this shallow sandbar area by boat. The stingrays congregate in the area, and are very docile and friendly. Many of them seemed to be missing their barb, maybe the locals are trimming barbs to reduce the possibility of a potential... We booked this excursion through our cruise line (RC) and it was truly the highlight of our trip. My family of 10 including 4 children between 7-11 could not stop talking about the experience. Our tour started with a drive around the island with "Anjou," a wealth of information and a great singer who serenaded us with his own reggaed... More

All I can say about Stingray City is WOW. And i've been twice. You hop on this boat and drive out to the middle of the ocean - where for some strange reason, the water is about 1 metre deep, with no coral, just sand, and you're absolutely surrounded by stingrays. Our tour guides were excellent and very friendly and... More

We did a wave runner tour on a Saturday morning (a no cruise day). Even we read the reviews and saw the pictures/videos online before, we were still amazed by the opportunities to interact with the stingrays. We fed, held and kissed the stingrays (our guide, Carl from Action Watersports, did a great job)! We were glad we went early... More

LOVED our excursion to Stingray City with Cayman Explorer. The guides were informative and very knowledgeable, especially Bert. They took time for everyone to enjoy the stingrays, take pictures with them, feed them, and even had some snorkling gear you could use for free if you wanted. Don't forget to kiss the stingray! Easy in and out of the yellow... More

This was the second time we have visited and it was as fun as the first time. Amazing way to see the rays. Would go every time we are in Cayman.

300 plus people descend from about 15 boats, native hawkers pick up the rays and wipe them over tourists, others wave cameras and order people in or out of the shot they are about to take; the whole thing is odd and unpleasant
