This is our 2nd time visiting the island and both times we went to Stingray City and would definitely recommend to anyone.
Watch which Excursion your booking, the Stingray and Dolphins are way overpriced, and the dolphins are not worth it, you just sit in a group with 100 other people and have your picture taken with the dolphins (there is another charge for pics). The Stingray and Nature is definitely the best for your money! The Nature center Wild Exotic Birds... More
A truly amazing experience, swimming with hundreds of stingrays and getting the opportunity to hold them, and even kiss them for 7 years good luck! The shallow water ensures it is a safe day out for families as well as groups of friends
if you want to avoid the crowds, go at 7 am with white sand water sports. It leaves from Kaibo Yacht Club and has a short 8 minute boat ride. You are the only boat out there with only 8-10 people on it. Lots of interaction with the rays plus a great snorkel after. Never rushed. Great guide. Bring your... More
I thought this was going to be one of those "go to the marine zoo" and "swim with the stingrays". Ok, I guess I didn't read the reviews... but we went on a catamaran and headed out to sea. Snorkeled for about 35 minutes near the reef that is out in the middle of the ocean (ok, not the middle... More
We visited this attraction while on a cruise and it was awesome! Funny enough we booked it in combination with the Dolphin discovery tour and ended up enjoying it more than swimming with the dolphins. At first I was deathly afraid but the Rays were so calm, gentle and welcoming. We took lots of pictures and the tour guides were... More
This was my 3rd time to Stingray City! I booked through Carnival's excursions but have used independent tour operators in the past, as well. They all go to the same location. The water is the most beautiful color, warm and clear as a swimming pool! I love being able to stand in waist-high water, in the middle of the ocean... More
This is an absolutely terrific place to visit! The stingrays are unbelievable creatures. They each have their own personality and are soooo soft! Yes, they have their stingers, but they're used to humans so you can hold them, kiss them and touch them. I highly recommend you go out a sunrise with a group before the big groups of people... More
To be able to stand in the middle of the Lagoon & be surrounded by these incredibly friendly Stingrays is amazing.
Most definetely worth the trip...very neat experience to hold, touch, and chum a stingray out in its original habitat..even the stops to snorkel on the way are full of opportunities to see abundant ocean life! The waters here are so clear.
