Captain Bob was prompt, courteous, and an inviting host. We had a large party, 10 people, including two young children. His sail boat was comfortable and we had a superb lunch. He provided us with many options for the day based on our desires. We snorkeled and relaxed. We also had some great conversations about the islands, along with excellent... More

My first trip to BVI with family and friends, and I was fortunate enough to have had them arrange to sail three days with Captain Bob on Bravura! He sailed from Virgin Gorda to Soper's Hole on Tortola to meet us. The first day we sailed to Sandy Cay off Jost Van Dyke, then anchored off Jost Van Dyke for... More

We just spent a day on the Bravura with captain bob . 8 adults and 2 children under 8 years old. It was so comfortable and relaxing. Captain Bob explained everything to us that we could do that day before we even left dock. The boat was one of the prettiest boats at sea. We snorkeled all day long and... More

Being a long time sailor and growing up on sailboats and doing many bareboat charters, it was great to sail with Captain Bob on the Bravura. My family and I have been to the BVI many times since the 70's and we always have seen them from a sailboat. This trip however was spent in a lovely villa on Tortola... More

The first sight of Bravura was in Leverick Bay Harbor, she stood out like a gem with her exquisite wood trim and colorful hull amongst the white fiberglass boats. Captain Bob met us dockside where we kicked off our shoes and boarded the boat. We were asked where we wanted to sail, with route planned we motored out of the... More

My wife and I spent the day with Captain Bob and his first mate Tito. We started the day with them picking us up at our hotel and having a morning cocktail waiting for us. we made a few stops on the way to Cooper Island; once we arrived we went snorkeling while Bob made a wonderful lunch that exceeded... My wife and I and another couple were making our first trip to the BVI and wanted to spend one day on a sail around the islands. Not having any idea where to begin, the owner of the house we were renting suggested that we contact Captain Bob at Sail Bravura and gave him a very high recommendation. Thankfully we... More

I was in the BVI for the first time and luckily got to get out on the water for a day sail through the eastern, island-flecked end of gorgeous Drake's passage -- from Virgin Gorda to Cooper Island -- with a friend aboard the BRAVURA, out of Leverick Bay. She's a handsome, 48-foot Hans Christian sloop, built for ocean crossings... More
