Visited Virgin Gorda Peak while on a cruise,. Was told by a friend that I should go while docked in Tortolla. I must admit I was a little concerned about going because the excursion description said the terrain was rough. I must admit, the terrain is uneven and you are walking on sandy beaches as well, but once you get... More

If you like nature and a hike, this is for you, especially with children. It's a well-marked path through the "jungle", even a supply of sticks left by other at the start, up to a picnic area then on to the view tower. Thankfully the woodwork has been repaired since we were there last, so it's safer at the top!... More

The hike/run up and down the peak was a great work out. The trail was very clear and we saw 3 snakes.. nothing too big though!! The 360 degree view was totally breathtaking!!! Out of curiousity we decided to check out the bathroom and it wasnt maintained... so if youre gonna do the hike be sure to use the bathroom... More

The climb will keep you huffing and puffing, but if we can do it (62 and 68 year olds, both a bit out of shape), so can you! The end result is certainly worth it! The final climb up the observation tower rewards you with a 360 degree view that is spectacular! We could've spent all day sitting up there... More

Views are amazing and gives you a nice hike if you take the longer trail. Suggest closed toe shoes due to the rocks on the hike, but not too hard of a trail. Bug spray is also a good idea.

We did "Guy's Trail" and found it a little challenging. You should not do this in flip flops. A little steep and rocky but worth it.

We took a taxi to the trail head for $5 per person each way. Not a bad hike at all. The view at the top was nice just a little bit overgrown. Definitely worth the trip.

about a 45 minute climb through the woods with lots of bugs and not much to see on the way up. once you reach the top the view is well worth the work. but, once is enough !!

We decided on our last full day in BVI to try the hike to the top. It says 850 feet, but it didn't feel that high. Path is pretty well marked or used and winds back and forth until you reach the peak. There are some picnic tables at 2 different spots as well as restrooms, although we didn't try... More

From the top of this peak you have a great view in all directions. Just a short walk from the road. Worth the effort.
