Found White Squall in Trip Advisor, didn't want to do a cruise ship tour with a hundred people. Yes, it's true that Capt. Chris is a salty fellow, for some reason most boat captains are. We had a half day due to the ship leaving port at 3 pm so we were in kind of a rush. I wanted to... more

We have been visiting the bvi for a few years, and in May this year we booked a sailing trip on the White Squall to Treasure Island, What a fantastic sailing experience!!! We wish we'd sailed with them years ago as the boat was much more stable than the catamarans we'd been on previously. The excursion was booked with the... more

We took the White Squall II trip while were in Tortola. Since we were only a cruise ship, we on;y had 5 hours to sail and only went to Norman Island. The sailing experience is pretty cool and the captain is salty but has your saftey in mind. The snorkeling spot or Norman Island was fantastic. The schools of fish,... more

My family and I stopped in Tortola May of 2009. We were so excited to be taking White Squall out snorkeling. We had done a lot of research finding what we thought would be a perfect snorkeling tour. I spoke with the owner, Maggie, about the friendliness of the staff towards children, she had informed me that children were absolutely... more

Sailed with Chris and Kate in January 2008. The water was too rough to sail over to the Baths, so we sailed to Norman Island and Pirate Bight. Chris was very knowledgable about the area and we enjoyed hearing his stories about other sailers and the history of the surrounding islands. Kate was charming as could be, and we were... more

My wife and I along with two friends were on a cruise to the caribbean this last April (2009). I was on the lookout for things to do and found the White Squall in Tortola. We are a little tired of the same excursions offered by the cruise lines. We started with a group of 4, but by the time... more

We sailed with White Squall's crew to Virgin Gordo and Cooper Island (May 22, 2009), and enjoyed this day sail enormously. The crew was knowledgeable, competent and ever-so helpful. Their BBQ lunch was well prepared -- brats and chicken with a variety of accouterments -- and drinks of all kinds were readily available. We were among 17 guests, all of... more

Did a day sail with Captain Chris and Mate Kate and we had a fantastic time! The boat was steady and smooth, great vibe of people, and Captain Chris had plenty of funny stories to keep the laughter going. If you are looking for a great day sail trip, White Squall II is DEFINITELY the way to go. We did... more

I was on a day sail February 5th, 2009. It was end of my nine-day trip to Tortola and great way to finish. Sail trip started with greetings from friendly staff to welcome aboard. Safety was repeated several times and reminders to use lots of sunscreen. I liked the stops to snorkel. Crew got in the water with the group... more

While staying in Tortola for a week (Nov. 1-8), we took a day trip on White Squall 2 to Norman Island & it was just a perfect trip. Even before the trip started, it was a pleasant surprise. We had booked to go on Tuesday, but got a phone call when we were out at the Bananakeet on Monday for... more
