Fun place to get a quick history lesson on RUM and the how it was done and IS STILL BEING DONE! Enjoyed the tasting and tour but found the place to be a bit dark inside - it was tough on the elderly folks with us.

It's an All Star simply because there's nothing else like in in the BVI. Sample the rum, especially the aged 10 year one, take a tour and bring home a bottle for your trip reunion dinner with all your travel mates.

As a rum "snob" we found this little distillery charming. They only produce 25 gallons a day and then only for six months. As for taste, their aged rum is smooth. The have a "sugar cane" added rum that is a little sweet and interesting. You can buy a bottle there for about $10. If you are collector or taster... More

We took a private tour and this was one of the stops. It was neat to visit and interesting to see how old it was. The rum wasn't that cheap and the owner wasn't very talkative but overall I'm happy we got to see it.

It is the only distillery in the area. The staff is great, very professional and helpful. It is a little bit expensive, maybe. I recommend a visit.

We finally had the opportunity to visit Callwood on our 3rd trip to Tortola. Was shocked by how simple and small the operation was, but a bit intriguing too. Tour only cost a few dollars per person and only took about 15 minutes.

This is a pretty small shop and they explained pretty well their process of making the rum that has been done this way for hundreds of years and gave you a sample. there is a tasting fee but it's only a buck. It's a very rustic tasting room and the parking lot is as well so watch you step. The... More

This small, quaint distillery was a fun stop. We tasted all 4 rums and bought a bottle of the 10 year old to take home.

The only distillery in the BVI has the best rum I have ever drank. It's hand crafted sipping rum and their ten year old is too die for. A tour of the distillery, not guided, is a must for the rum connoisseur.
