This is a very good place to stop and to get informed about a peace of the history of this beautiful Island. The way that the locals have been making rum for the past 400 years is still being done the same way as all these years ago.....thats just mind blowing. It might not look like much, but to think... It's a neat place, very unique. It's the oldest, still working, rum distillery in the Caribbean. It's a very small place. it wont take you long to look around the building and buy some rum. If you are in Tortola you should at least stop by here once.

You have to stop by for a tour and tasting! Very cool. This is a very short tour so worth the stop. This is not a "Napa wine country" moment. But take the time to look around. Buy some samples. I liked the Arundel Cane Rum. It has a couple other names that I will leave for you to find... More

So if you enjoy rum, this is a great place to visit. However, the pictures shared are the entire experience. Not a tour as much as a cool rum tasting in a dank old building. Having said that, the building itself is incredible and the workers are friendly and full of information. Go try the rum then buy some bottles... More

It's old and run down as you would expect with it's age, but the employees are very friendly and very generous with their tastings. Some of the best rum I've ever tried. I think the tour and tasting was a grand total of $1.

Stopped here briefly on an island tour and bought some miniatures of their products ($2) to take back to the ship. It is a very small operation; the only place in the BVI that still produces rum and the people are friendly. But before you take photos, they want you to buy something. The "Arundel" is a 10 year old,... More

After spending part of the day at Cane Garden Beach wondered down the dirt road passed rentals to this distillery at the edge of the 'village'. Young woman working there amazingly had studied in Canada before coming back to work in her family's business. Tried four shots for a dollar, pretty reasonable! Did suggest to her that they needed signs... More

I had heard of this from a fellow traveler a couple of years ago and was not disappointed. It is a distillery that has been around for 400 years and in the same family for the past 200 years. They have is down. It is a small, very cool place to visit. There is a tasting room (for a nominal... More

This caribbean distillery is a must to visit while in Tortola. They offer you a tour of the area and some samples of the rum and you can buy it in different sizes. Sometimes you can see the owners around and get to chat with them.
