Swimming can be a bit tough due to some rocks that must be traversed before getting to a sandy bottom, but it's worth the trek. This beach is great because if you get hungry or thirsty you can walk to one of two restaurant/bars that overlook the beautiful expanse of and satisfy your hunger/thirst without having to sacrifice the view.... We absolutely loved this beach! It was so serene and beautiful! There are really nice beach chairs to relax on and decent bars and restaurants. The water was a little rough though. Not sure if it's always that way, but it was a little scary just going in swimming. Definitely recommend this place to spend a day at!

At the very western end of Long Beach is a lovely small beach bar called Nature Boy Beach Bar. Simple drinks, lovely setting. Highly recommended. Parking is a tiny spot just as the road leaves the beach to go up to Belmont Estates.

We rented a VRBO overlooking Long Bay Beach. It is one of the best and most beautiful beaches on Tortola - great for swimming and boogie boarding. It was never crowded, even though we were there during Spring Break. As a matter of fact, we had a hard time finding someone to take a photo for us on Easter Sunday,... More

As others have mentioned in their reviews, there are two Long Bays on Tortola. This review is about the Long Bay beach near the airport in Beef Island. We stayed at Surfsong so this beach was a very short drive for us. It was practically deserted when we got there and it's a beautiful lovely stretch of beach. Other than... More

A rather large slightly curved beach with a large hill at each end. Perfect photo taking opportunity. The Long Bay Resort is here and is mostly set back from the beach. You can get drinks and food at the restaurant. Take your camera and beach stuff and spend some time here.

A wonderful place to spend an afternoon. Be sure to bring beach shoes with rubber soles as there can be underwater rocks at some places near the waters edge. A good pair of polarized glasses helps cut the water glare and allows you to see through the crystal clear water. Sand is great and though the beach is not terribly... More

there are some rocks and waves at this beach but plenty of good snorkeling. I read a lot of reviews that said the rocks were a big issue but really you can overcome that with little difficulty. There are good facilities here as well. There are bathrooms and restaurants right off the beach.

There are several resorts to stay at with close access to the beach. This beach is really one of the most serene. Waves can become a bit much for small children. Very, very beautiful.
