This is where the good surfers go when the northerlies are running. The folks you see at Long Bay are just practicing for the time they graduate to Brewers. It is less visited than Cane Garden, but when the cruise ships are in it can get crowded. Go to the east end of the beach near the campground to avoid... More

Nicole's beach bar was situated on the bay just perfectly...they have great hamburgers. The snorkeling on this Bay was the best we had found on the island.

You've seen the postcards with the palms on the beach and the beautiful water.....it was Brewer's Bay. It is a U shaped bay, so the water is like glass. There are two ways to get to this isolated beach, the road and the path. Of course, we found this out after we got there by the path. But, that made... More

This is in my opinion the second best snorkeling behind Smuggler's Cove. Much easier to access and Nicole's spot for a decent lunch makes this a great place to go with your family or friends.

Brewer's Bay is our favorite bay in Tortola!!! The bartender is a PUTZ! I find him very rude and jerky. Unfortunately for us Nicole's was not operating, so we had the PUTZ make us a hot dog, 2 inch hot dog......9 inch bun!!! If you ask him for a drink....you have to pull him away from his reality TV shows!... More

For me, as an avid swimmer and snorkeller this was not the place to be due to the strong undertow. If you are a strong swimmer it is ok, but I would not recommend getting out of your depth if you are not, or if you are a child. Otherwise, there is a lovely quiet beach with sunloungers for hire,... We visited this beach twice during our 15 day stay and mainly because our first trip the owner of the campground and bar was so hospitable and nice. She offered us a pillow and beach matts to place on our lounge chairs and made me a fantastic pain killer. We saw some of the biggest fish ever while we were... More

Brewers Bay has pretty good snorkeling and the beach is quite nice. I went here for a few hours because I wanted to snorkel. There are a lot of pelicans and a few chickens walking around. Nicole's Beach Bar has good reasonably priced food as well. And it is less crowded than some of the other beaches.

Do you feel like a fish sandwich? If so, Nicole's has VERY GOOD ones. And drinks. And eat in your bathing suit. And watch the beach and the tourists. There are lots of worse places to be.
