Had a rental car on Tortola and came across Brewers Bay by accident. Some very steep but fully paved roads lead to the beach where there is a small campsite. The beach is pretty much untouched by tourism and is not the place to go if you want bars and restaurants as there is one bar and he is not... More

We didnt actually park at the Bay/ Campground. We took a side road and went along the right side of the bay as far as we could drive (unpaved road). We parked on the side of the road and walked in off a tiny sandy beach. The snorkeling was outstanding with many eels, jawfish and sharks. Loved it!

Our villa overlooked Brewers Bay. The drive from the Ridge road to the beach front is very steep, but the road is fully paved. We entered off the left side. The beach had a lot of palm trees with good shade and a nice shallow entry was great for the kids. The beach doesn't have a lot of amenities, but... More

We asked Hillroy, a taxi driver, to take us to an uncrowded, beautiful beach, and boy, did he deliver! Brewers is isolated and beautiful. It is a horse shoe shaped Bay, surrounded by mountains, with calm water that is clear to the bottom. There is some snorkeling to the left, as you face the ocean. The water is calm and... More

Brewers Bay was beautiful ! We snorkeled all day with lots of fish to see. White soft sand and very remote . Small snack shack with bathroom. The view was ripped from the pages of a magazine .. We would love to return someday in the near future. FYI put your chair under the trees it's the only shade available

We visited this beach with cooler and chairs in hand. Not as calm as Smugglers but probably just as clear. Chickens and roosters galore. Chairs available but the bar wasn't open on our visit, so no amenities available. For scenery, I'd probably choose smugglers or long bay over this beach

We stayed at a house about three miles from Brewers Bay so this was our go to spot! I was worried about it being too well known and there being a lot of people there. When we first arrived, there was a "party bus" there but they left within 30 minutes. Once they departed, we pretty much had the beach... More

We stayed at the Refuge Villa at Brewer's Bay (see separate review for villa) for our honeymoon. Brewer's Bay is quiet and relaxing. It's also gorgeous as you can lookout and almost always see a sailboat and Jost Van Dyke directly across the water. Speaking of, the water was crystal clear and we had a blast!

Positives are that it is pretty and does have a bar/grill on site to order food and beverages if desired. It wasn't crowded on our visit - another positive. Snorkeling was ok, but not great. Negatives: One must have nerves of steel and pray for a car rental with good brakes to handle the drive down to the beach. Roads... More
