We took a taxi here from our cruise ship for $7 per person, each way. Our driver pointed out some things along the way. Roads are crazy, so we were glad we had not rented a car. The beach here was very quiet, except for the local roosters crowing. A few even walked through the beach. Only one bar here... more

Brewers Bay was our favorite beach. We like more private beaches and this was it for us. On our second drive over we saw hundreds of people at Cane Garden Beach because of the cruise ship, so we were a little worried about Brewers Bay being crowed, but that wasn't the case at all. We decided to try taking a trip on our own to Brewer's Bay on April 24th, 2008, during our visit to Tortola on the Crown Princess. We had received many recommendations about the snorkeling there, so we were willing to give it a shot. We had no trouble finding a taxi willing to take us. The rate was $20 each... more

I first went to Brewers bay in 1996. My wife and i were on a cruise and tortula was one of the stops . It was one of the nicest ,unspoiled islands we had visited.The people were great and we really had a great time. Two years ago we were able to take our children back with us on another... more
