We stayed at the Refuge Villa at Brewer's Bay (see separate review for villa) for our honeymoon. Brewer's Bay is quiet and relaxing. It's also gorgeous as you can lookout and almost always see a sailboat and Jost Van Dyke directly across the water. Speaking of, the water was crystal clear and we had a blast!

Positives are that it is pretty and does have a bar/grill on site to order food and beverages if desired. It wasn't crowded on our visit - another positive. Snorkeling was ok, but not great. Negatives: One must have nerves of steel and pray for a car rental with good brakes to handle the drive down to the beach. Roads... More

This is a beach off the beaten path. It is clean and safe with lots of pelicans diving all day long. There is a small bar at the entrance where you can get snacks. Saw lots of families enjoying themselves.

The beach was disappointing. The little bar nearby was nice and the guy was very friendly. The beach smelled somewhat like bird poop and there were birds everywhere. There were much calmer beaches on the island, but Brewers Bay wasn't one of them.

We only passed through to let people visiting the beach get off the bus/taxi but it looked nice it had golden sand and was a quiet beach, it had what looked like a nice clean restaurant, it looked worth a visit

Brewers Bay is not a packed beach, it is a lovely snorkeling and relaxing beach. There are two bars at each end of the beach, they sell good drinks and food. The sand on the beach is soft and white, there is sometimes small waves at one end which are good to body surf or practice with a longboard. Brewers... More

The sun was shining, the sand was soft, and the birds were chirping. It was a nice day. They only have the one bar/canteen and it was not very clean but it served its purpose. Fun drive to get to the beach, overall it was a nice day. A lttle disappointed with the snorkleing.

Brewers had great snorkeling, reef is not too far off shore and is sheltered so easy for beginners. The approach driving into Brewers from the mountains is breathtaking as you look down on it. Brewers has plenty of shade and there's a places at both ends of the beach to get drinks and snacks. You can also rent lounge chairs... More

We were supposed to go to Virgin Gorda for the day to snorkel at Maho Bay. When we got to the ferry we realized our plans weren't going to work out. We walked over to the airport and gave the driver a few different locations we wanted to go - he immediately said - go to Brewers Bay! There was... More

This is our favorite beach on Tortola. However it has been discovered by the cruise ships and gets pretty crowded on some days. The beach is white sand. The water is usually clear. There is a long reef running along the left edge that is easily accessible from the beach, and that extends well out into the bay. Excellent snorkeling.... More
