When the surf is up at Long Bay Beach it will be much calmer for snorkeling etc at Smuggler's. This little cove is wear the locals go on weekends.

This beach was really quiet, lovely for swimming and an easy swim out to the reef. Not huge but we did see some beautiful fish among the coral.

Great little cove with crystal clear waters and white sand. It was never crowded at all however just watch out for the little gnats...i would recommend bug spray on top of the sun tan lotion!

Smugglers cove was nice but getting there was horrible. We rented a small car and the road to Smugglers is basically a very curvy narrow dirt path. I would suggest a jeep for rental car if you intend to drive around the island. The sand flywheels also drove us crazy.

We took the dog and got some coconuts. There isn't a bathroom or restaurant which is why it's so lovely. It's a bit sandier to the left if you are facing the water. Nice quiet beach.

Nice sandy beach. No bathrooms or restaurant. The snorkeling wasn't very good. The sand fleas were awful here. I didn't have bug spray and I'm not sure if it would've helped. They were that bad

Years ago, only locals knew about Smuggler's Cove...but the secret is out! This is by far my favorite quintessential tropical beach ANYWHERE! Early morning and late afternoon, it can be all yours. Great for a walk on the crescent shaped beach and depending on the day, good for snorkelling. The water is clear and usually calm, although there can be... More

Only a 20 minute walk from Long Bay, Smuggler's Cove it beautiful, though there's a lot of junk around, like trashed lounge chairs and the like. No amenities, except for a porta potty, and a questionable dude selling rum punch. BYOB and it'll be great...

We set out looking for Smuggler's Cove, but almost didn't find it. We drove through Long Bay Beach Resort. After the resort, there is a fork in the road- both ways are marked 'PRIVATE'. Take the right fork- and yes it is a dirt/gravel road. It's just about a mile past that point until the road ends in the parking... More
