Epic white sand beach which is rarely busy. Basically like having your own paradise to yourself. Also there is a corral reef which has great snorkling. Bring some snorkle gear, some chairs and a few cold ones and it makes for a very awesome day.

A must visit spot if you are on Tortola, probably the best beach I have been to. Great swimming and snorkling.

We were staying at Long Bay Beach Resort, but the water was rough and rocky. So we drove over to Smuggler's Cove in five minutes and found a tranquil, gentle and calm beach to swim and snorkel. We visited on two weekdays, so no vendors were set up and shared the beach with only two other couples. The reef had... More

Perhaps it used to be secluded, I found Brewer's Bay to have fewer people several times, but then again, overall in Tortola on the most beaches that we hang out on (Brewer, Smugglers Cove, Lava Flow, Josiah), there were may be 3-4 other couples, some with kids. No restaurants, no stands, all got canned this past spring - the government... More

Smugglers is beautiful. White sand, crystal water, and shade for us Irish folk. All the beach fendors(who serve drinks and BBQ type food) were absent during our visit on May 27. Their presence would make this the perfect place to spend a day. Cant miss this one.

A white sandy stretch of beach with (currently) no vendors. Bring a cooler with your lunch and some nice frosty beverages and you'll be set for several hours of doing nothing but sitting on the beach, snorkeling and sunbathing. Not sure why other folks were so disappointed in the lack of amenities, it keeps the tourists away, which is sort... More

Great sand and very swimmable beach - my kids 5 & 8 had no problem playing in the waves. The food and drink stands right on the beach make this a great spot to relax and get some sun.
