There should be two seperate entries, one for the general area and another for the restaurant at the head of the bay "Pirates Bight". Norman island and the bight are definitely worth visiting for the seascapes and snorkelling. This review, however, is really about the restaurant. Having reopened in April 2014 after the fire of 2013, this was our first... More

Great Snorkeling...start with the caves, then move to the Aquarium, and end up at the Pirates Bight restaurant and be fed fabulous food. Then lounge in the caribeean blue waters of the cove and be sad when you have to jump in the boat and travel back to reality. Note: Norman Island is accessible by boat only. P.S.S. If you... More

On a recent week in the BVI, our bare boat charter started out by mooring at The Bight on Norman Island. It is a well protected anchorage and close to the historical caves. We didn't visit the Willy T, the floating restaurant/bar or the local restaurant on the beach, but had a grand time snorkeling The Bight. The sea life... More

Our charter captain took us to the Pirates Bight at Norman Island for lunch while snorkeling and bar-beach hopping. The open air restaurant offers an amazing view and a large menu. It is recently re-built and all new. The food was delicious and the service great. Stop at Foxy's, the Soggy Dollar and the Willie T for drinks, but eat... More

We visited several years ago and we were thrilled to see the renovations completed! The new bar/restaurant area is bright, clean and beautiful. The beach is pristine! The service was excellent. It is tucked away - not over crowded and simply amazing. Make this a stop!

We were so fortunate to be able to spend several hours at The Bight on Norman Island. We rented a 31' boat and cruised around the BVI for a day. We were so surprised to find The Bight and really enjoyed the food, service and most of all the setting. This island is where "screensaver" photos for your computer come... More

Pirates at the Bight raised from the ashes of Billy Bones is a great new large colonial style restaurant at the Bight - superb location, warm welcome, great menu, super family friendly, pushes all the buttons - still crazy after all these years.......loved it.

Nice place to spend an afternoon. We had a charter and stopped here for lunch and a cocktail. If you are into shopping this island is not for you. Stick your toes in the sand and chill.

Although the Bight was closed this spot offers a great area of protection with a dock and plenty of mooring balls. Because of the general direction of the wind in the BVI's, this is almost totally protected. The willy T was open, and the jumps from the top deck, always fun!

Lots of mooring balls available for the night here. Went in to the island for dinner, and the food, service is very good! It is open air but they have many fans to keep the air moving. The sunset was spectacular! There is a nice gift shop with all price levels. Instead of heading back to the boat the group... More
