wow this is really awesome place.the bight is an excellent overnight anchorage with funneled wind, plenty of moorings, and lots of options. the willy t is a great, unique floating bar for late night partying, there's great hiking on the island and the snorkeling/diving in the area is outstanding.

We remember Billy Bones and were hesitant about the Pirates Bight. HOWEVER- the service was very friendly and …well….awesome! Much cleaner that BB and sterile, but that is probably because of the new building after the fire. Great conch fritters and friendly staff with easy access beach for the kids.

Just returned from a sailing vacation in BVI. Was my first visit to the Bight. Moorings in harbor were good and is just a short ride in by dinghy. The food was excellent-the lobster Jambalaya (pasta dish with huge chunks of lobster-not a stew which one would think) was one of my favorite dishes ever!! People were having a good... More

The bight at Norman Island is a great place for a first or last night's stay if you are chartering a yacht out of Tortola. There are many many mooring balls and it is an easy sail to or from Tortola. It is protected from the prevailing winds and has many options for dinner and drinks. See my review for... More

We moored in The Bight just around the point from the Caves and dinghied into Pirates Bight Bar where Romeo didn’t know the kitchen was open despite it being 10 ft/ behind him. We finally got some conch fritters and onion rings with Pirates Punch, Goombay Smashes and Painkillers.

This place used to have character...rugged charm and spirit. Unfortunately that went up in smoke with the previous structure. Its replacement is a beautiful open-air masterpiece with all of the ambiance of a dental office...only more sterile. Whoever sold the owners on the concept of hundreds of bright white LEDs deserves a medal for salesmanship...either that, or the owners are... More

What a great first night stop for dinner to get the vacation started. The food is great and the menu varied. The temporary restaurant is nicer than the old one! I understand that it will be the bar in the future.

We sailed into The Bight last week. Lovely sheltered bay with lots of mooring bouys. Quite a few boats from surrounding islands as it was a Sunday and a full moon too! Pirates was good for drinks and food. The old building was replaced recently but burnt down soon after. They are rebuilding a new Pirates but in the mean... More

We arrived late for dinner at Pirates Bight and, just when it looked like we were going to get the "sorry, we don't have a tab....", we asked if we could eat at one of the tables on the beach. Evidently, not a popular choice and I really can't understand why. Service was very friendly, fish was perfectly grilled and... More
