While Saba is a beautiful island, certainly worth visiting, I am providing this review for others who don't do well on the open ocean. Going to and from Saba was one of my best experiences this year. Mickey and the crew were the coolest ever, making someone that is so scared of the water actually want to take a ride in it. Going to and from Saba on Edge II was nothing but a pleasure for both my wife and myself. The crew was kind, helpful and above all, courteous. The ride from St. Maarten to Saba was smooth and uneventful, save for dozens of flying fish taking their flying leaps in the waters surrounding the boat. We passed the time counting... more

We took the daytrip from St. Martin to Saba aboard Edge II with Aquamania. We had booked it through the Royal Palm Resort in Simpson Bay. The first problem I had with the trip is that their brochure states it is a one hour trip when it took over 90 minutes each way. They also gave us absolutely no warning... more
