The climb to Fort St. Lewis can be taken at your own pace and the view from the top is spectacular. The price is right (it's free!), so don't miss it! bye66

This had a lovely view and it was close enough for French shopping. I visited the area twice, once around midday during the week and then around evening on a Sunday. Both were nice.
We made the rigourous climb to the Fort and found 360 degree fantastic views. If you like cannons they have @ 5 cannons pointed in all directions. You gotta do this in Marigot!
We drove in to Marigot on a misty, rainy day . We decided to walk up to the fort and were very glad we did. Absolutely beautiful views and it does not cost a thing to get in. Would recommend , worth the views.
PRO Amazing views of Marigot and Caribbean FREE :) CON Sad that the country is so poverty stricken that they cannot maintain a historic attraction like this. It i a beaten old ruin that seems neglected for years
A short hike up some stairs and you'll be treated to beautiful panoramic views of Marigot Bay. The ruined fort itself is not much to look at, with only some remnants of walls and a few old cannons.
Alot easier walk than it appears down below from town. View is worth every step! Highly recommended tho that you do it in the morning because the sun and heat can be quite strong. Theres no shade on the walk up and its very limited at the top.
This was a nice diversion but after the climb up all of the stairs, it was pretty hot at the top of the fort (we both left our water in the car). the view of the bays on both side of the fort was pretty nice though.
It's worth visiting if you're looking to do something other than beaches. Bring...

A wonderful view and great ruins. Some signs needed repair but not as much as Ft. Amsterdam, on the Dutch side (also provided a beautiful view of Great Bay and Little Bay)
