Be careful going up, take a 4x4 and be vigilant when you park and walk around. The place is known for riff raff mugging tourists, so it's better to go with a large group. But the views are excellent!!! Don't go late in the afternoon as the sun will spoil your pictures. More

We had read about the beautiful views, so we thought we would give it a shot. Our SUV made it up just fine but when you get to the top, there is a gate to a private residence. There is a small sign (probably posted by the thieves) that says 1 minute walk to the view. We walked up this... More

This is a beautiful place with beautiful views, but my friends who live on the island have warned me not to venture there via the road, but to enjoy those views via Loterie Farm'strails. Some of the most breathtaking views on the island. More

My family and I hiked to the Pic Paradis, the highest point in St. Martin, from the Loterie Farm. You can drive up there if you don't want to walk, but the road is very narrow. Once you reached to the end of the road, I'm not sure where you can park your car because it's a dead end street... More

I will start by saying I have never hiked before. This was my first experience. You drive approximately 8 minutes up this tiny road that only fits 1 car so you pray you don't meet another car going other direction. We had rented a Corola and it barely made it up since it was not that powerful of a car.... More

I am the adventurous type. Traveling is the best way to understand the world that we live in today, so I tend to travel a lot now, while I can. St. Maarten is a beautiful and friendly island to visit. I still feel this way even after we were robbed. Yes, robbed in one of the most beautiful places the... More

I am very sorry to read that many people seem to have had trouble getting items stolen from their vehicles while hiking here. I lived here for a year and hiked Pic Paradis many times and never had a problem. Granted, I never wore any jewellery or left any valuables in my vehicle while parked up there. It is a... More

We discovered this on accident. Followed the crazy steep road to the top, parked near the telcom tower and walked the last minute down the dirt road to the view. What a view it was. Even though it started raining on us while we were up there, the spectacular views definitely made it worth the trip. You can get a... More
